Lovely hotel near all facilitiesPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, lovely, classy decor, clean, quiet and fairly central to everything.
Cons: The shower was very small but there is a limit to size in older buildings. However, this didn't spoil our trip
Location: Within walking distance of St.Mark's Square, the water buses to Murano, lots of shops and restaurants, the fish and fruit/veg markets and lots ore
We stayed for four days in April - lovely weather, blue skies and warm sunshine. Quite busy but the side streets were wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Language was not a problem but Italians appreciate a few words in their own tongue - you should make the effort. The hotel was lovely - quiet, beautifully maintained in Venetian shabby chic. The room was cleaned every day - everything was spotless and looked after. Venice is expensive but four days was enough to see everything we needed to see including St. Mark's Square, the Tintoretto paintings, Murano island - you can walk everywhere or catch a water bus very easily. The streets are very safe even at night - lowest crime rate in Europe. Occasional smells from the canals so April is the best month - warm but not too smelly! Food and drink is not cheap in the main areas but you can find side streets and eat with the locals for a bit less. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended. Flight, hotel and whole trip well organised and highly recommended.

Great hotel / locationPosted Apr 1, 2014
The hotel was above the rest but should have been since the price was twice as others. They are still charging for wifi which even in low price hotels is free. The breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely nice. The room size was more what an american traveler is used to and some of the views from the room were incredible.

Excellent hotel close to centre of VenicePosted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Excellent breakfast choices. The complementary afternoon tea and evening buffet were very welcome to sit and relax after a busy day sightseeing.
Cons: It would have been helpful to have had free WiFi available. The computer in the lounge crashed with monotonous regularity.
Location: Central location within easy walking distance of the main attractions and very close to a Vaporetto stop at Ca D'oro
An altogether very pleasant stay at this small well appointed and clean hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful including sending detailed instructions for getting from the airport before our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them during our visit. The standard room we had can be described as bijoux but had everything necessary, was very comfortableq and was perfectly adequate for our stay.

Nice area, off the beaten track.Posted Mar 27, 2014
Nice area, off the beaten track. Nice breakfast selection, if you're early enough you may even get a sneaky bucks fizz.

Exceeded all our expectations!Posted Mar 25, 2014
This hotel is very well located in the Cannaregio area. Very quiet, yet close to everything. The rooms are nice and clean and very Venitian. The breakfast was very good and the complimentary afternoon refreshments were also very welcoming. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location lovely authentic Venetian stylePosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: 15mins from Rialto bridge and St Marks square and also the buffet FOC each afternoon.

Helpful staff lovely surprise having free buffet including wine each afternoon and evening will definitely stay again.
