A smalll friendly hotel in a great location.Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Hotel offers complimentary sandwiches & pastry's between 2&6 pm and complimentary wine from 6 to 10.30 pm. Coffee tea and soft drinks also available.
Cons: It would be nice to have a seating area outside the hotel over lookijng the canal to spend a relaxing afternoon/evening.
Location: hotel is located in the Cannaregio district and is easily accessible to all the main sites. The nearest water bus stop at Ca' D'oro is a 3 minute walk
We stayed at the Una after a week cruising the Greek islands out of venice,to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. It was a fitting end to our holiday and one we will remember fondly. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area only a 2 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Most of the main sights can be reached on foot or by the water bus(local stop 2 min's)in around 10 or 15 mins. The hotel is also well located for access to the airport.A5 minute walk to the Fondamente Nove water bus terminal and 16 euros per person takes you straight to the airport terminal.Allow 40 minutes for the ride on the Agilluna line, tickets can be purchased direct with the driver.

Nice and quietPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Very much :)
It was a lovely hotel. Quiet, clean, helpful staff, close to the shops and walking distance to st maro square. It was so nice to have breakfast and evening drinks and food available. I will recommend this hotel to my friend's visiting Venice in the near future. Also it was great that they had an elevator to take your bags up to your room.

Quiet hotel, yet close enough to the actionPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The complementary breakfast and snacks that were laid out all day.
Cons: There are so many places to buy a bottle of wine, but the room didn't have a corkscrew opener.
Location: The hotel is fairly close to the boat that takes you to the airport. It's about a 10 minute (if that) walk to the main canal.
Our room was on the first floor, and the windows opened onto a small canal. We also had a pull-out sofa for our 9 year old son. While our stays in other cities in Italy were very noisy, this hotel was exceptionally quiet. We were a block off the Strada Nova so we were close to everything - except the noise The bathroom was very clean and functional. The water pressure in the shower was exceptional. Robes and slippers were in the room, along with a nice table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee. We didn't partake in the minibar. The hotel has turn-down service which included a small candy on each pillow. These types of things are a really nice tough after a long an exhausting day of site seeing! I would definitely go back to this hotel. I will also seek out other UNA hotels for future European vacations.

A friendly welcomePosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Staff, comfort and free snacks and wine
Location: Showers are pretty snug.
Great staff in this friendly hotel. Slightly off the tourist track the hotel is in a quiet yet convenient location, only one bridge to cross from Cador vaporetto stop. The rooms are smallish as expected in Venice but very comfortable and well appointed the one exception being the shower which is a tight fit even by Venice standards. There is a free Pc with internet in the lounge / TV room but this is slow, better to pay the modest WiFi fee. Breakfast is very good and a very pleasant surprise was the free coffee, savouries and pastries in the breakfast room from 4:30 pm and additional free wine (local and very tasty) and sandwiches from 4:30 to 10:30.

Beautiful hotel situated in the heart of VenicePosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The location and its proximity to local services such as water buses, restaurants and shops, all within a short walk.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
We spent one night here before a cruise and two nights afterwards. We had an amazingly lovely room and found all staff exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully laid out in the dining room. An unusual touch we hadn't experienced previously was the complimentary refreshments provided in the dining room from 2.00pm until 10.30pm. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again at a future date.

Great location and staff. The closet sized room, average condition - expensive for what you get.

Fantastic Hotel near to local historic sightsPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Excellent setting, close proximity to centre of Venice. Staff were very welcoming and were available at all times.
Location: Great position to explore Venice from. Not far to walk to see most of the well know historical sights that Venice has to offer.
We had a terrific short 4 day short break. Weather was fantastic and we saw all the historical sights that we set out to do. Hotel was in close proximity to the port, shops and ice creams parlours which were frequented daily. Excellent choice for breakfast and the afternoon tea/cakes etc was extremely good to come back to. It was also a nice touch to offer wine after 6.00pm for those who wanted it. We shall definitely be coming back to this Hotel again.

Lovely hotel in a good location.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Lovely and clean, excellent choice for breakfast, everything you could possibly ask for was on offer.
Cons: Our room, although nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, was quite small which was a little disappointing.
Location: The main Street with shops and restaurants is close by, also Rialto market and St. Mark's square are quite close.
We found the hotel to be quite luxurious and fairly close to our favourite parts of Venice, especially St. Mark's square and Rialto. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were checked twice a day.

Location too far away from airport, cruise ships.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Quiet hotel very attractive and with thoughtful touches. Great breakfast, afternoon snacks and later wine and snacks. Very clean.
Cons: Can't change the location.
Location: It is on the canal. Perhaps the hotel could provide clear info re gondola rides etc.
Lovely hotel but 100 Euros from the airport and 90 Euros to the cruise ship by private water taxis. Too far from the tourist locations also.
