Nice Hotel in a great location.

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The staff, location, rooms, breakfast and afternoon snacks.
Cons: Better wifi/internet service.
Location: Easy to get to from train station or airport. Easy walk to all Venice attractions, shopping and the Grand Canal.
Very nice hotel and rooms. The team there made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. Breakfast and afternoon snacks were very good. Easy to get to from train station or airport but not in a busy location...a perfect combination. Only constructive criticism would be the internet. They charge by 30 minute increments and the hotel guest computer is old and slow.

Excellent hotel conveniently in convenient locatio

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the complimentary afternoon and evening hot and cold drinks and snacks which were much appreciated.
Cons: No
Location: Fantastic location as it was in a quiet location and yet only about 200m from the main shopping street and 15-20minutes walk from StMarks Square
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel enormously. The breakfasts were excellent and the complimentary teas ,coffees, biscuits ,cold water ,wine ,and small snacks were available from 2.30 to 11.00pm,.This was ideal after a long day walking around Venice and before and after going out for an evening meal.

Excellent Hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Location: The hotel is situated between 2 vaporetto stops, F.te Nove for services to the airport, Murano and beyond and Ca'D'Oro for services on the Grand Canal
I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was very comfortable and the location couldn't be better. The complimentary snacks and drinks were very welcome after our daily sightseeing trips around Venice.

Super helpful staff, quiet location

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, staff, decor.
Location: Not much around but an easy walk to strata nova, and rialto bridge. Venice can be hard to navigate on foot, but the staff was very helpful & gave maps
Enjoyed 2 nights in the executive room. It was very spacious, but I wasn't a fan of the bathroom being downstairs. The floorboards were uneven and you could feel gaps under the carpeting while walking around. Other than that, the hotel was great. The breakfast buffet each morning had lots to choose from (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). I would recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, clean, place to stay.

Good value hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, very good breakfast, buffet all afternoon and evening. Rooms of a high quality.
Location: Close walk to Rialto Bridge. Close walk to the water taxis to Murano and Burano. In a quiet area but easily accessible from Ca d'Oro water station.
This turned out to be a very good quality hotel close to all amenities which belies its external appearance.

A smalll friendly hotel in a great location.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Hotel offers complimentary sandwiches & pastry's between 2&6 pm and complimentary wine from 6 to 10.30 pm. Coffee tea and soft drinks also available.
Cons: It would be nice to have a seating area outside the hotel over lookijng the canal to spend a relaxing afternoon/evening.
Location: hotel is located in the Cannaregio district and is easily accessible to all the main sites. The nearest water bus stop at Ca' D'oro is a 3 minute walk
We stayed at the Una after a week cruising the Greek islands out of venice,to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. It was a fitting end to our holiday and one we will remember fondly. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area only a 2 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Most of the main sights can be reached on foot or by the water bus(local stop 2 min's)in around 10 or 15 mins. The hotel is also well located for access to the airport.A5 minute walk to the Fondamente Nove water bus terminal and 16 euros per person takes you straight to the airport terminal.Allow 40 minutes for the ride on the Agilluna line, tickets can be purchased direct with the driver.

Nice and quiet

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Very much :)
It was a lovely hotel. Quiet, clean, helpful staff, close to the shops and walking distance to st maro square. It was so nice to have breakfast and evening drinks and food available. I will recommend this hotel to my friend's visiting Venice in the near future. Also it was great that they had an elevator to take your bags up to your room.

Quiet hotel, yet close enough to the action

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The complementary breakfast and snacks that were laid out all day.
Cons: There are so many places to buy a bottle of wine, but the room didn't have a corkscrew opener.
Location: The hotel is fairly close to the boat that takes you to the airport. It's about a 10 minute (if that) walk to the main canal.
Our room was on the first floor, and the windows opened onto a small canal. We also had a pull-out sofa for our 9 year old son. While our stays in other cities in Italy were very noisy, this hotel was exceptionally quiet. We were a block off the Strada Nova so we were close to everything - except the noise The bathroom was very clean and functional. The water pressure in the shower was exceptional. Robes and slippers were in the room, along with a nice table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee. We didn't partake in the minibar. The hotel has turn-down service which included a small candy on each pillow. These types of things are a really nice tough after a long an exhausting day of site seeing! I would definitely go back to this hotel. I will also seek out other UNA hotels for future European vacations.

A friendly welcome

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Staff, comfort and free snacks and wine
Location: Showers are pretty snug.
Great staff in this friendly hotel. Slightly off the tourist track the hotel is in a quiet yet convenient location, only one bridge to cross from Cador vaporetto stop. The rooms are smallish as expected in Venice but very comfortable and well appointed the one exception being the shower which is a tight fit even by Venice standards. There is a free Pc with internet in the lounge / TV room but this is slow, better to pay the modest WiFi fee. Breakfast is very good and a very pleasant surprise was the free coffee, savouries and pastries in the breakfast room from 4:30 pm and additional free wine (local and very tasty) and sandwiches from 4:30 to 10:30.
