“20 min bus ride to Venice”

The hotel is in a remote area but is just a short bus ride to Venice. You could also drive to Venice in 15 min and park your car for the day. The hotel room was lovely. It had a loft with a king size bed. The hotel staff were very helpful. Restaurants in the area are few. If you don't have a car it could prove to be difficult to find a place to eat. All in all, the hotel was great.

“Great choice if you have a car”

This is an excellent choice if you have a car and dont want to stay in crowded, overpriced Venice. The rooms are large, modern, spacious and very clean. The full breakfast is great. Its easy to find and has free parking. We drove to the Venice parking garage in 20 minutes.

“Great value hotel”

We stayed here the night before and after our cruise. It is more like a villa than a hotel. The rooms are large with great bathrooms and everthing is new. The staff is very friendly. They had live music on Saturday night and we danced the night away under the moon on the outdoor terrace. There is a store and two restaurant's within a short walk. We rode the one euro bus out to Venice and back. This hotel is nice and quiet and a pleasant break from all the crowds of people out in Venice. This is a great place to stay.

“Very accessable to airport”

Very convenient to airport. Clean, large modern bathroom. Windows have blackout shutters to block all light for weary travelers. Good breakfast buffet.

“Excellent hotel”

The Venice Resort Hotel provided clean, comfortable rooms which were very well maintained. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is situated a distance from the city centre but was easily accessable via the number 5 bus. The bus stop was 100m from the hotel and the buses ran every 30 minutes with the last bus back at 11.40pm. The only downside with the hotel was the walls of the hotel were quite thin. Overall I was extremely happy with my stay and I'm hard to please!

Ask to be put in a room that's away from the dog barking at 3 AM for an hour.

“Good out of city hotel - but neighborhood not outstanding”

The Venice Resort is a great place to stay, if you want to be out of the city. Convenient to the airport, convenient to bus lines into Venice, and the staff of the resort are fantastic. But one must realize however that the term resort is just a name - no pool, no spa, and no on site restaurant. The resort does serve a typical Italian breakfast which was great, and there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the resort. For some Americans, the walk to restaurants and the bus line, along Italian roads with no sidewalk, might be considered a bit "hair raising", especially at night. Having said all of this, we would use the Venice Resort again without question. Just a word of warning, keep 25-30 Euros cash for the taxie to the airport.

“Lovely hotel near Marco Polo Airport”

Good hotel near Venice Marco Polo airport. Lovely green grounds, and friendly helpful staff. If arriving at night, local bus to Tessera then short walk. Taxis from airport have 16 Euro minimum so expensive for such a short trip.

“Impressed!”

I had a brilliant stay in the Venice Resort, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the mornings was lovely. Bus journey from the hotel to Venice was only about 20 minutes and the buses ran quite often. Would recommend it to anyone.

“Out of town”

This hotel was an excellent choice for our early morning flight out of Venice. It was clean and quite, just what we needed after all the shopping in Venice. The punctual service of the staff was greatly appreciated.
