Dear Guest, We are so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay! The property is on the older side and you will be pleased to know we are in the midsts of upgrades.. We just finished putting new flooring in all of our rooms.. However with the cost of everything on the rise it is a bit discouraging trying to upgrade but we are doing it :) We are sorry to hear you were not pleased with the complimentary breakfast! We have a variety of foods to please everyone. Breads, Eggs, Fresh Fruits, home made cakes, Orange Juice, Fresh Coffee brewed daily, milk. Cereal ext. We are one of the few hotels that provide a complimentary breakfast to our guests, however if one shall not like the complimentary breakfast we do have a restaurant on site that is available for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Hopefully you enjoy your stay much more the next time you visit!

We take pride in offering a diverse selection of breakfast items, including hard-boiled eggs, an assortment of fresh bagels with cream cheese, jam, and butter, homemade cake, whole and cut fruits, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, orange juice, iced water, hot water for tea and hot chocolate, as well as a variety of milk options and creamer for coffee. Our guests have the option to dine indoors or enjoy outdoor seating with picturesque views of the crashing surf and the pool. While we understand that preferences vary, we aim to provide a satisfying breakfast experience for all our guests. Seagulls are a protected migrating sea bird and we cannot harm them. This is not something that justifies a bad review nor checking out early on a 3-day reservation in our respectful opinion.Regarding the noise from neighboring rooms, we want to assure you that we take all guest concerns seriously. While we are not exclusively an adult-only hotel, we have limited rooms suitable for families, and the room adjacent to yours is not typically designated for families. However, we strive to accommodate all guests to the best of our ability, and the construction of our hotel ensures relatively soundproof accommodations. Nevertheless, we apologize for any disturbance you may have experienced during your stay.Regarding the condition of the property, it's true that the Cliff House is not a new establishment, but we take great pride in its upkeep and maintenance. While maintaining a seaside property presents its challenges, we dedicate ourselves to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback about our inn, and we believe our offerings exceed the expectations of a 3-star establishment.Regarding the cancellation policy, I regret any inconvenience caused by the non-cancellable booking made through a third-party travel website.
