“Great weekend stay!”

Second stay at the Country Inn. You really can't beat the value when rating the hotel and service. Now throw in the great location and you have top ratings. Walking distance to the beach, pier and to downtown shops and dining. Who could ask for more.

“Very Nice Place!”

This was a surprisingly nice hotel. Walking distance to old downtown and the beach. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was very good. The room was very spaciuos with a fireplace and balcony. The pool and jaccuzzi were both heated and very clean.

“Great hotel close to city center”

The hotel is great. The free morning breakfasts are much better than what you will find elsewhere and the hotel is 3 minutes walk from the center of the city.

“Ventura Beach weekend”

Excellent in every aspect. comfortable belds - -only issue -- the heavy drapes did not "meet' or close all the way in the room. the track iteself was only 1/3 way across entire window, so too ,much light came into the room. I like my room completely dark when I want to sleep in. This was only draw back.

I have been staying at this hotel since 1995. It's nice to see the same people working the breakfast and happy hour after all these years. We always have a nice stay.

“Great hotel at an excellent price!!”

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. The staff was curtious and the room was clean and comfortable with a view. Plus they have a really great breakfast with a variety food. It was yummy. Plus it's walking distance to almost everything fun in Ventura, the beach and their little Main Street. My husband and I look forward to returning.

“Nice Hotel Stay!”

This is a nice hotel to stay at in downtown Ventura. Walking distance to Main St and tons of restaurants as well as the beach! Our room with two Queens was huge, with a fridge and microwave. I do suggest asking for a room not facing the ocean. It's more quiet and the other side may face the ocean but those rooms also look out to a loud freeway and train tracks. The full FREE breakfast was great and the FREE happy hour with Beer, Wine, & Munchies made it an especially great value! Service was great. The only negative is the pool and hot tub. It's right next to the freeway and not very inviting.
