Nice hotel at harbor.Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Good bed, good breakfast. Decent free Wi-Fi. So few people on beach it was like having your own private beach. (Monday afternoon 9/30/13)
Cons: Don't charge for parking.
Location: If you continue down the Spinnaker Road, and not turn onto Navigator Dr, the beach, harbor shops and restaurants are great.
Clean room, quiet, good view of harbor. Nice free breakfast. Cost $10.00/day to park car. (Free in-out.) Harbor has many good restaurants and shops. Good beach location, very few people. Has pedestrian walkway to Sheraton Hotel. Can use their gym and pool free.

would never stay herePosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
The front desk reception was so rude, your check in took forever. There had to be about 30 people on line in front of me with onle 2 people working. Not a Business Person friendlyor family friendly hotel

The smell was overwhelming.Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Proximity to the beach.
Cons: Everything needs to be improved.
Location: Just stay somewhere else...
For the price I paid for one night I expected things to be much nicer. The first thing we noticed when we opened the door to the room was the overwhelming odor. It was close to a cat box odor. Since the hotel was booked solid, we were unable to get another room. The bed was old and dished in. Everything was old and dated (and smelled terrible). The floors were not clean either. I will certainly not ever be returning to this hotel.

Better than SB Hyatt!Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
We came from the Hyatt Santa Barbara down to Ventura when the Hyatt could not extend our reservation and boy are we glad! This hotel was SO much better! It was comfortable, very reasonably priced, and the room was huge. It had a King sized bed, a couch, a desk, and plenty of open floor space left over for activities. Wow! They also have the complimentary breakfast, which I am a huge fan of. Just a pleasant little stroll over to the Village at the Harbor. The staff at this hotel was also wonderful. We tried to extend our stay there but unfortunately, they were booked solid. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great view of the HarborPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: The location and view of the Harbor.
Cons: To have a swimming pool and jacuzzi on the property. We were told of the pool and jacuzzi at the adjoining hotel, but we didn't want to walk there.
Location: Great location - near the Ventura Harbor, which had everything we needed - restaurants, Comeddy Club, shops, nightlife.
We had a great experience with the golf course close by. We took advantage of the close by Ventura Harbor, which had everything we needed - restaurants, Comeddy Club, shops, nightlife.

Relaxing habor viewPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved the shared amenities at the four seasons next door. Our only complaint was paying for parking. Seemed a bit ridiculous as this is not a city setting. also the warning about flooding in the parking lotis a bit of a negative as you drive in on first getting there

Perfect Place to Stay in VenturaPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you want something off the freeway and close to a beach, this is the place to stay. Very comfortable bed, spacious area, and not your typical Holiday Inn Express. 3 stories, and all rooms have large balconies to view the harbor. A+ breakfast for a free breakfast. The only downfall is the $10 parking fee. If they had security in an enclosed lot, I could understand, but they don't.

Old and dated, in serious need of an updatePosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room we stayed in smelled horrible. The carpet is old and dated but apparently is being replaced. The hotel has no services, and the pool pictured on the website is actually next door at the Sheraton (with access to Holiday Inn guests). I cannot recommend this hotel
