I demand to talk to corporate.

My stay was terrible. The walls are paper thin and there were parties going on both sides of my room until 4 AM. I kept calling front desk and they did NOTHING about it. There were drunks and homeless people staying in rooms below me as well that were harassing other stayers. The staff was extremely rude to me as well.

Would not take my wife there. Too many "characters" hanging around the hotel. Unclean and unsafe area.

Pros: The staff was great and easy to deal with.
Cons: The carpets need to be cleaned and the rooms could use some upgrades.
Location: The hotel is near the freeway, beach and downtown Ventura.
We spent the night in this hotel on our way to San Francisco. The hotel was fairly quiet and comfortable. It had the essentials like a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and clock. The hotel was old and in need of a remodel but the room seemed as clean as it could get. The heater was somewhat difficult to use but the bed was comfortable and warm. The guy at he front desk was very polite and a pleasure to deal with.

To many people living out of the rooms

To much of a party place and low income people living out of the rooms . walls are thin

They are oil field workers. They stay for a week at a time. I'll pass on your comments about the thin walls. That is something we can address. Thanks for your comments.

Location was perfect for us. Property was fine, room was fine. Staff was friendly. Only problems were: TV remote didn't work & wasn't replaced AND one morning there was a large bug in the bathroom (which staff removed).

old motel, updated great bed and sheets

Pros: see above
Cons: get the check in person up to date with expedia reservations.
Location: beach, nice cafes for breakfast.
first the check in staff got our reservation thru expedia but couldn't check us i because it wasn't PM. what ever that is...she made us wait and wait and took others ahead of me while she figured out how to check us in. What was the probelm I never understood. but geez! People noisy outside all night long, a semi parked in their lot behind our room keep their compressor going half the night and it was really noisy. But it was nice the windows opened for fresh air (a pet peeve) and the views were beautiful. the shower had a narrow view of the ocean. too bad the motel was not facing the ocean view....

When the police nock on your door, looking for someone not there, that's no good. When people above you are making noise all night long, not good.

Very satisfied with comfort and cleanliness of room - only that continental breakfast compared to that of an airline breakfast.
