This Boca del Rio resort has its very own private beach. In addition to an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, Galeria Plaza Veracruz provides a health club and a steam room. Average hotel in a nice town.

I can tell you folks that hotel is good for the price I paid. Certainly it is at good location, it is inside the Americas Mall so you have plenty options for a cafe or breakfast (vips, sanborns, etc) or even go to the movies. This hotel belongs to the Las Brisas group, so it is wel maintained. One thing to keep in mind is that his hotel does not have acces to the beack, actually this area of Veracruz is not at the beach; however if you are in a business trip of visitng family / friends will suits you well. If you go to Veracruz to spend time at the beach look for other hotels in the new area of Boca del Rio. I would recommend the hotel overall, it is clean and it has fee parking in case you need it

Rooms were confortable and clean. It was convenient to me that the Hotel has direct access to the biggest mall center in Veracruz, but this might look not so convenient to others as you have to park in the mall parking lot and the lifts don't get to the parking lot level so you have to go through the stairs.

My family and I have stayed at many hotels in the Veracruz area during the last few years and Galeria Plaza, in our opinion, is the only hotel worth staying at. My family has stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and this trip was definitely the best ever! We did not experience any problems during check-in, check-out, or any part of our stay. This hotel is located in the center of the Mall, Plaza Americas, however provided great dinning options (at very reasonable prices too). The indoor pool was very clean and beautiful. The offsite, Club Playa, has finally completed it's much needed renovations. Now the Club is clean, provides friendlier service, and has a fantastic beach location. Great for families, and couples.
“Over charged & terrible internet service”
We thought we'd be near the mall not in it. All hotel access is in the mall. The outside entrance was clogged/blocked by teenagers "hanging out" Friday nite. The hotel itself is "tired".....the mgr. is not doing his weekly rounds. Very disappointing...! Las Brisas group should be ashamed.
“Good stay for a reasonable price”
The hotel was as I expected: not very luxurious but clean and in a decent area of town. The check-in was not the most efficient in the world but part of it was due to the holiday season. I think this is exactly what it should be for a 3-4 star hotel and I would recommend it under that understanding.

Since this hotel is not beside the beach, there is a small beach club across the avenue. It is very bad, very small, dirty, the two pools are very small, water is cold, there are no shades. The pictures and video in the web page, make it look like a nice place to be, but is really not. They should do something better over that area.

The hotel is good enough to spend some days with the family, it is nice to have a mall in their own facilities.
