family reunion stay at Super 8 in Yankton

Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room was fine except the toilet seat was loose. Bed was very comfortable and that was the main reason we were there was to sleep. So the stay was fine. Our key kept having to be reset each day even though we had booked for 3 nights. So that was irritating to go down stairs each day to have it reset. Otherwise things were fine. I liked having a refrigerator in our room.

Evening in Yankton, SD

Pros: Breakfast was good, waffles, oatmeal, juice, rolls, coffee, what more would you want
Cons: Working air-conditioner, TV controller that worked with the TV
Location: We were there for a wedding after a vacation in another country
You get what you pay for.... there were burn holes in the bedspread (this was a non smoking room). The air-conditioner had thumping sounds when on high, it was a very warm evening. We found that when putting the conditioner on low it didn't wake us up in the night but it also didn't keep the room very cool. The TV controller didn't match the channels so it was interesting to find a channel.

Super 8 Yankton is a bad hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Aweful the floor was sticky, clothes were left in the bathroom, the toilet was leaking, microwave didn't work, no fire alarm, no phone chord. I went and asked about a second room. It wasn't much better the ceiling was damaged and there was water left in the tub. The lady from front desk asked if we needed it cleaned. I never heard such a stupid question in my life. My girlfriend had a nightmare about the room. I was embarrassed by the motel. She was upset ,but I think I was more upset. There was poor service and the front end lady was very unprofessional. I would never stay here again! If I could I would close the place down.
