I would use this hotel again when visiting the area. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accomodating.

“Bad Reason to be at a good hotel”

Unfortunately we were there for a wake and funeral but the hotel was great.Clean comfy rooms and plenty in the area if we were there for pleasure. As it turns out the family had a dinner set up for us at the hotel and they allowed us to use their breakfast room until midnite or so. The staff was very accommodating even though we pretty much took up the whole lobby for most of the night. Lobby had cable, fireplace and internet. All kept the kids occupied. Hot breakfast buffet was nice-eggs, bacon, waffles and good coffee. Only downside-no ATM

“Vernon Ct Gem”

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at! Rooms were very clean and orderly and the breakfast was wonderful! I could have wished for a refrigerator in the room, but since my mother's room had one, we were OK. The staff was wonderful and the ladies that cleaned our rooms were very friendly and helpful! Couldn't ask for a better location, right by shopping and restaurants!

“Very nice but smokey”

Great rooms, great full breakfast, coffee at all hours, nice employees. The workout room was much appreciated but I couldn't figure out the stair step machine. We were there when there was a lot of snow on the ground. It snowed our fist night there but they quickly had the parking lot cleared. I was worried about being cold at night but the heater worked great. Our only complaint is the cigarette smoke that is prominent in the evenings and mornings. The door jams are not very snug so just putting a towel across the door on the floor didn't help. Maybe a simple door gasket on all doors would help? We would stay here again though.

“It served it's purpose.”

The hotel was fine for what we intended, which was an overnight stay on a budget. It was clean and nice. Wasn't impressed with surrounding area, though. No pool, so would be not suitable for longer stay for those with kids.

“Simple lodging while on the road”

Simple, clean, pleasant room. Buffet quick breakfast was a nice throw in. Location is really for a travel stopoff, which suited us fine.

“Nothing fancy; reasonable value.”

We were looking for reasonably-priced accommodations, and were satisfied with out three-night stay. The property is well-maintained, the room was as ordered and clean. The only complaint I might have had -- and I didn't bring this to the staff's attention -- is that the heating/cooling unit was quite noisy. Again: nothing fancy, and a reasonable value. I would probably stay here again if I needed accommodations in this area.
