“Very good in price range”

Motel was inexpensive but a good value at the price. Clean, well kept up, and close to everything that was important. I would recommend staying there again.

...I think simplicity best describes this older hotel, seemed clean and spacious and comfortable, was pet friendly (even got a discount), the breakfast was not to brag about but the diner next door compensates..staff were courteous and efficient, w probably go there again on our next visit to Vernon (visited friends nearby), concensus of reviews are way off base and only serve to bring down the rating..give it a shot if you are in the area.

“decent place”

Spent 3 nights while in the area on business. For the price I paid, the place was decent. Easy access from the interstate. Big plus-- a 24 hour diner with good food next door, and a great Jewish deli restaurant 100 yards down the road!!

“Decent Motel”

Good location, friendly staff, decent comfortable room. Could hear the person snoring in the next room. The breakfast didn't have a lot of choices but it was okay.

“Not bad for the really low price”

The room was a little larger than standard for the type. Beds were comfortable and clean. Carpeting was the gold that always looks dirty and it did look stained. Tub, shower and shower curtain were clean and worked well. Toilet functioned and was clean but looked a bit rundown. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. I've paid more for similar accommodations.

“Convenient”

Convenient location, right off I 84, and near I 91. 24 hour Vernon Diner adjoining, and Rein's Deli (awesome!!) next door make this a very convenient place to stay when in or near Hartford. Hotel is pretty basic, but adequate.

“get what you pay for... maybe less?”

I paid much more for this room than It should have been, and I've been in much nicer rooms for much less. I wasn't expecting an amazing room but the room had a dirty seedy feel to it. I felt safe and it's perfectly acceptable to spend a night there if you have to, but i recommend looking somewhere else first. possibly the motel 6 right down the road. Do it only if you have to.

“Clean basic accomodations”

Clean, basic accomodations for an overnight. Big room. Good restaurant next door.

“Good for single guy”

Hotel needs major renovation. Room was clean and quiet for 2 out of 3 nights.
