Can't get much closer to the beach

Posted Jan 6, 2015
This hotel is nicely updated for a building likely built 20+ years ago. Fantastic location and surprisingly high-end rooms and common areas. Excellent value for a beach vacation.

Jensen Beach Courtyard 12/2014.

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: Location & cleanliness, & good/friendly service.
Cons: More hooks for towels in bathrooms, airport transfer shuttles...
Location: N/A for me (as I was interested only in the ocean, good weather & doing exactly nothing).
Great setting right on the ocean - what else you could ask for in the mid winter? Miles of pristine beaches, friendly ocean access & entry, ocean & air temperatures @ high 70s, food & drinks easily available @ great varieties - I wish I could do it more often & stay longer...

Great Location, nice hotel

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: Hotel is right on the beach and we had an ocean front view which was awesome! Staff was great.
Cons: Recycling bins in rooms. Queen beds didn't feel like queen size and semi see through bathroom doors are a little intimidating for those who are shy.
Location: Hutchinson Island is for peace and quiet. Not a lot of activities, but enough, such as biking, SUP boarding, etc. Not much chain style businesses.
We stayed 8 days and there is very little, if anything, that I would complain about. Clean, convenient location, friendly staff. What more do you want? I've read that the bathrooms are too small, but how big does a bathroom have to be? There is certainly enough room to do all that needs to be done and the shower area is huge! There is even shelving to allow for an area for your toiletries. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony at no charge which was fantastic since we were on the ocean side of the hotel.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff Large, comfortable rooms Good computer facilities and wifi
Cons: A restaurant or more options for dining/ hotel breakfast Possibly provide a car rinse: lots of salt coming from nearby ocean onto windshield
I recently stayed at this hotel for a family wedding, the staff were very accommodating with how many guests for the wedding were staying at the hotel - we had practically three entire floors and they coordinated all of our rooms together. Although I visited during the "off season" the hotel itself was a nice play to stay and they had good facilities to help you find things to do in the small town. The only problems I had were the dining options - the hotel has a tiny Starbucks in the back of the lobby which is open in the mornings and though the staff recommended a place to go to get a proper meal there aren't a lot of options around. The only other problem I had whilst staying here was with the elevators - they both seemed to be in need of repair whilst I was there - they still worked but would often take you to the floor below the one you wanted (e.g. You would press 7 and it would take you to 5 or 6). A nice place to stay for a weekend away for couples, close to the beach with a few quaint places to eat, though anyone else would be hard pressed to find things to do.

close to beach , hotel OK

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: the staff were very helpful and courteous.
Cons: our bathroom had holes in the drywall at the bottom of the bathroom door. the entrance to our room slammed, there were ants all over the coffee statio
our experience was OK, nothing spectacular. We arrived late on Friday evening and found all the amenities at the hotel had closed at 8 PM. We had specified an ocean view room through Expedia which when we arrived were told our room overlooked the parking lot. My wife and I told the receptionist we ordered an ocean view room. There was one available so we took it at a much higher rate than we were quoted from Expedia.

Good hotel close to beach

Cons: Breakfast service
Good experience except for the breakfast service. There was only one cashier. She would take the orders and give them to the kitchen staff in the back. It took us 25 minutes to receive our breakfast and they were not busy.
