A very old and outdated hotel

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Large rooms and overall clean
Cons: The hotel needs to be updated/remodeled.
Location: Hotel has a pool, some fast food restaurants and Walgreens is within walking distance.
The check-in was fast. The hotel was probably built in 60-s and haven't been updated since then. The room was big and clean but again everything is very old and outdated. The air-conditioner was very loud and running non-stop (even in automatic mode). Some of the bed sheets were yellow. Breakfast was simple with choices of dry cereal, milk, coffee and bagels. We needed to stay there just for a night and it worked OK for my family, but would not recommend for extended stay.

Better than what I expected

Posted Apr 16, 2014
The room is a little dated, and like most hotels has a slight odor. But overall I enjoyed my stay. The area was quiet and safe. The room had the basics and the bed was comfortable. It was a little better than what I was expecting for the price.

Good for Nothing

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Its closeness to Gifford and its proximity to restaurants and stores and its proximity to the beach.
Cons: All of the rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned and pest exterminated and the carpets replaced. I would also replace the mattresses.
Location: The hotel was conveniently located next to restaurants and stores for eating and shopping.
I was in Vero Beach to attend a wedding reception in Gifford. The experience was terrible. I found a live roach between the bed and the end table and I couldn't sleep because the room was damp and musky. The pillow case was dusty and the mattress is old and is extremely hard. The carpet appeared as though it had not been vacuumed (extracted) in months or years and this caused my allergies to make it difficult to sleep on Saturday night. There was no tissue in the bathroom and the bathroom had only one set of towels and I my girlfriend found one of the towels with ladies make up on it. I firmly believe that the carpet has never been replaced and there are remnants of past guests in it. I also believe that there have been pets in the room even though the signs clearly state that "No Pets Are Allowed."

Won't be staying here again.

Pros: Price was low, but it doesn't make up for low quality.
There is no elevator. The rooms smell funky. Mildew and various stains in the bathroom. Continental breakfast a joke. Coffee was horrible. Front desk did not have shampoo and conditioner and housekeeping didn't come in until 9AM so I had to go without. Didn't feel all that safe.

Pros: Conveniently located to the event we were attending.
Cons: Decor
Location: Only visited Indian River Mall and the Outlet Mall.
The front desk needs a personality. He was nice enough but didn't seem welcoming.

Not bad

Posted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: For the price, it's not bad, if you're staying just one or two nights
Cons: Make the lobby bigger
Location: It was at vero beach. Not much to do. We were visiting some friends
I just spent one night. It was ok. 2 floors. It would have been nice if there were elevators. The steps are arkward to climb and more so if your lugging a suitcase.

OK for one night

Posted Oct 15, 2013
Not a bad place to stay for one night. Really if a place is clean and safe I am OK with it. This is not a place to stay for several nights. The room keys stopped working twice and we were only there one night. The room smelled a bit smoky but seemed to get better after the AC was run for a little while. For the price, I would stay there again.
