Pros: It was clean
Cons: The noise
They have weekly rental and they are loud late at night and early in the morning. Don't expect to go to sleep early or sleep late there.

Not too bad for the price

Posted May 19, 2014
Cons: Replacing some of the linens that aren't clean or tattered appearing. Cleaning the sink area daily.
Location: Location was perfect for my trip, went to Indian River Estates to see my family member and it was a short 5 minute drive there. Beach is close, too.
I didn't have a bad experience with the hotel, you kind of get what you pay for. It was a little disappointing in terms of the condition of the room, but overall fairly clean and I was able to tolerate a 3 night stay. Didn't have much interaction with staff other than check-in and check-out but they were friendly and I didn't have any issues. Wasn't a huge fan of the stained bedspread or the cigarette burns on it, but whatever. Would probably use again if I really wanted to have a cheap trip but next time I might splurge on a little bit nicer hotel.

Convenient to 95 and Vero Corridor

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: Air conditioner was relatively quiet and efficient. Wifi worked well. Room was quiet. No traffic noise even though very close to I-95.
Cons: Key that worked properly. Bathroom switch, filthy. How about one way screening applique on window so drapes could stay open during light hours.
Pleasantly surprised with size of room and condition of furniture and appliances . Bed was super comfortable.

HoJo was cool

Posted Mar 24, 2014
It is the Howard Johnson so I wasn't expecting Ritz Carlton level of confort. The place was clean, conveniently located to I95 and SR 60. There were a few problems which were immediately rectified. The room was listed as non smoking but reeked of smoke when I got there. I sing so that was NOTgood. I told the manager and he immediately moved me to a new room. The iron was broken and they brought me a spank brand new one in five minutes. Nice staff and all too. Yes I would recommend it.

Ok for a short stay

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Staff was very good, took care of problems very fast. Very friendly
Cons: More choices for breakfast, hotel needs some improvements, new carpets, new beds
Location: Shopping, malls, Dodger Town baseball, Vero Beach.
Carpet was dirty. One of the beds had a big sink hole in the middle. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very good, helpful and friendly. Ok place for a day or two. Not great for a longer stay.

Close to highway, easy access, low price hotel

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: Cleanliness, update room.
Location: Close to highway; about ~10 miles from beach.
Although the hotel was cheap, you get what you pay for. A lot of highway noise, older rooms, typical low priced hotel.

Traveler Beware

Posted Jan 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
My family and I travel quite often and try to stay in mid-range hotels/motels when we're just looking for a place to sleep and shower. Regardless of the price of the room, some cost-free services should be standard with all lodging establishments; friendly/helpful customer service, clean rooms, hot water, and accurate reservations. I booked a non-smoking king and my reservation was confirmed with the same on the receipt. When we arrived, I was surprised by the night desk attendant who asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking. His question made a little more sense when I read a sign on the wall that said that non-smoking rooms were available upon request. Apparently this is a smoker's hotel. When we arrived at our room, we found that we were given two beds instead of one king. After arguing with the night desk attendant, who was very rude and less than helpful, he told me that the motel does not have any rooms that are non-smoking with a king bed, not just none available at the time but none period. Our next surprises were a cold shower and roaches. I spoke with the manager the next morning about my experience with the night attendant and she assured me that the motel does have non-smoking king beds. The manager made no apologies for the night attendant's behavior or the room mistake and offered no suggestion as to how she could make amends. I suggest that you not risk ruining an otherwise pleasant trip by having an unpleasant experience at this motel.
