When booking with Expedia this dump requires a cash deposit. I don't mind the deposit at all but why you can't use credit or debit card for it ??? Oh the joy of going to drive around to find ATM after driving and working all day...

This place is not like advertised. The staff was super nice but the rooms are dirty and bugs are in the outlets. Not good people outside all night long yelling and talking. Felt extremely unsafe. 2/10 stay.

Property requires a $100 CASH only deposit upon arrival. This is something that I was not notified about before hand. Does not matter that I had already paid online. Was also told that it could not be put on our card. Staff was nice, but the building could use some work. The hallway and room smelled damp. Our fridge and mircowave were not clean. The microwave had a hole and burn marks on the inside so we could not use it.

Loud rooms smell. I checked out 4 rooms before I was comfortable with staying in one. Advertised breakfast. Basically self serve waffle. No butter. Awful coffee. Extremely disappointed in the entire experience. Never again.

Where do I begin? The hotel is outdated and they need buy new furniture. The bed was comfortable thank god but everything else was horrible. The room had a funky odor and the breakfast had no variety to choose from other than cereal or waffles. The nicest thing I can say is the gentleman who checked me in was very nice but everything else was horrible. I was supposed to stay for 2 nights and ended up checking out after the first night. Never again.

When I arrived I was surprised by a company policy that I had to pay $100 in cash before they would let me check in. I did not have a $100 in cash army. And they would not take a credit card or debit card. Needless to say I was unable to check in

A person who books a room through Expedia is required to give $100 in cash upon checking in. The Cash is returned upon checking out. Most people do not carry that kind of cash around, and I was no exception. I had to leave the hotel and find an ATM. The room was clean but had a faint smell of animal. I have stayed here a few times and never once had to pay this cash deposit. But the person working the counter insisted that it has been a Hotel policy for a while. I watched the person in front of me not pay the $100 cash and she replied that he paid with a credit card directly to the hotel so he was not required to.

Usually stay here when im in town for work however, this time I was very unhappy... someone was smoking in their room and the whole floor smelled like cigarettes including my room. It seemed to be coming in through the vents. I'm highly asthmatic so it was a very rough night. I called the front desk to report the situation and was offered a room change... I got permission to open my room window and that helped greatly. I declined the room change as I was already ready for bed and did not understand why I was being punished for someone else's indiscretions. (All rooms I noticed had the no smoking sign).

Carpet was heavily soiled. Furniture was rotten and delaminating, needs to be renewed. Room smelled musty. I stayed at a Sleep Inn the previous night and was very satisfied. After driving 12 hrs. I had no energy to complain or wanting to move my bags.

I like the fact the location was in a very accessible spot & the staff was very friendly. The room smelled , the carpet was wet .The breakfast was very limited on what you could eat . It had Belgium waffles, cereal, yougurt , some juice , coffee . It also had a frozen sandwich. Not good source *

The hotel is run down! The furniture is damaged and out dated. The Tv didn’t work so I was moved to another room which was worse than the first room. Just say we needed someone to lay down for 6 hours to head on to Miami and I wouldn’t suggest it for any longer. The owner definitely should know this

Smelled so bad like mold I couldnt sleep. Turned on heat to dry out some but didnt trust the heater. Rugs were filthy. Paid for through expedia but they wouldnt let me check-in because we showed up just after midnight and I booked just before midnight as I was traveling at night and very tired and had trouble finding the place.

Disappointed in Fort Pierce.
My Husband and I try to stay at sleep inn every time we go to Fort Pierce, we have never been asked to give a cash deposit, let alone one for $100 for miscellaneous expenses. We will never stay their again.

We didn't like the staff member that was onsite at check in she was not pleasant at all very unfriendly and blamed everything on hotel policy but the young lady that was working around 10pm Sunday night was awesome when we discovered the bed bugs she quickly gave us a new room and was genuinely sorry for our inconvenience. The walls and carpet was dirty and the room had an oder. This hotel has gone down considerably over the last 5 years and we will not return.

I love this Motel best in the city. I lived here in the 90's. I tried the other motels in the area, and more expensive ones on the beach. If you want an inexpensive, clean nice stay without the noise of trucks and without the worry of bums and thugs, this is the place. Waffle House is short 2 minute drive. All kinds of fast food 2 minutes away. Cracker Barrel is a 5 minute walk. Pool is clean and well maintained. Rooms are cleaned and sanitized every day. Staff is excellent and ready to answer any questions. Price is well beyond the 2-star rating. For me, this is a 5-star motel with a 2-star price. I'll share this info with all my friends and anyone who asks. I'l be back again and again.
