Clean, comfortable and perfectly located.Posted Jul 14, 2014
I stayed a night at this hotel and I really liked it. It is really clean and the room is wonderful. The breakfast was included and it was great. There was a lot to eat, great variety. The hotel is really close to the center where everything is. You can reach all the main points of interest by foot. There is no need to take public transportation. Online the room was advertised for 120 US dollars, however they only take a card to hold the room. At check in when they actually processed the payment I was charged 120 euros. I thought this was extremely unfair.

Welcoming and FriendlyPosted May 8, 2014
Pros: Lovely room, clean, friendly service, nice breakfast and great advice about things to do in Verona.
Cons: Indicate a clear way to phone with dialing code for Italy. Also indicate clearly that the reception building is separate to your hotel room.
Location: Very close to the centre and the arena which was lovely!

Good value for what it isPosted Apr 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
B&B Carmen is in a perfect location between the station and the entrance to the ancient city. Don't be alarmed by having to wait a little while for the owner to come and get you. The room was small, but it was a single room so that wasn't a big surprise. The place is clean and the bathroom large. It's shared with others but I had no problems waiting for others to finish etc. The only thing I would say was that the bed could have been comfier and it was a bit loud when people were up and about in the morning. Some were up very early and talking loudly, and as there is no-one working there except to welcome you when you arrive, there's no-one to tell people to keep the noise down. The breakfast is a self-service affair but there is a very large choice. Very good,. All in all, good for a night and a great location.

It must be crowded when full!Posted Mar 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was traveling without a phone, so I had to walk over to B&B Rigoletto to get someone to check me in (I'm assuming they would have met me had I called). So keep that in mind - the reception is not staffed unless they are specifically meeting you. Once I got in, it was clean and comfortable. I was one of a few guest staying in the whole place and I still had to wait to use the bathroom. When this place is full, I can imagine it feels loud and crowded. Be wary if you book during a busy season.

We had a great time, thank you.Posted Aug 6, 2013
I shouldn't recommend it, it's such a gem. It is a bit of a jungle to get there just as everywhere in Venice, but actually it is quite central after all. We had a great time, thank you.

Clean BnBPosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Reasonable, clean modern BnB but only 1 bathroom for 3 rooms ( 2 triples and a double) totalling 8 people made being up and out by 10 difficult. Pillows were flat but air condoning was great. Breakfast was nice you make yourself but there was not enough supplies in kitchen for everyone to get full breakfast.
