Excellent location for exploring Verona and regionPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Location, good value and room, good breakfast, helpful staff with good English.Plenty to do and no need for a car.
Cons: More milk in rooms for Britsh guests tea and coffee! Make sure egg boiler is hot enough at breakfast - coming out raw after 6 mins!
Location: Old centre, arena, cafes, historic buildings, opera, good access for Lake Garda, Venice, Mantova, vineyards.
Hotel is close to train station and old town, both within easy walking distance. No frills but room very good, clean, air-con works, staff helpful, good breakfast covering all needs, We were very happy with this hotel.

Excellent locationPosted Jun 2, 2014
Cons: Lovely jacuzzi shower in room but difficult to work out how to use ? Really lovely being able to make tea and coffee in room after out walking
Location: When come out of hotel ten mins to the right to station or left 10 mins to centre perfect
Stayed here for seven nights may 2014 .excellent hotel very clean staff very helpful . Breakfasts very good plenty choice This hotel is in a good location for centre and also only 10 min walk to train and bus station . We had to travel by taxi from airport as it was late evening when we arrived this cost approx 36 euros. But was able to travel by airport shuttle from station at a cost of 6euros per person on return journey. Very central for taking train to Venice if you take fast train approx 1hour 20mins it will be more expensive . Also used bus at station to vist sirmone in lake Garda beautiful place to vist would recommend a vist here .

friendly and welcoming staff, hotel lovelyPosted May 28, 2014
Pros: The location was good, right outside a bus stop for independent travelling, just a short walk to Piazza Bra, and staff were excellent.
Location: the location is very handy as right outside of the bus stop for those travelling independently, although there is also parking available.
My Mum and myself stayed here for several nights in Verona, and nothing was too much trouble, it is a lovely hotel and staff were exceptional.

Great hotelPosted May 26, 2014
Ideally located within easy walking distance of both station and old town. Hotel was 1st class, modern spacious rooms, excellent facilities & breakfast was wonderful - huge choice of delicious food. Verona is a beautiful city & would love to return - would definitely stay at Hotel Firenze again as can't recommend it highly enough.

Worked for me!Posted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a fine stay here. The room was clean and the bed was firm. It's not super fancy but it was fine. Laundry service was fast! Breakfast was plentiful and free with our stay. It was a short walk to the coliseum and train station. There is also hot water and tea in the room. Good place for the price!

Good hotel, excellent value for moneyPosted May 22, 2014
Pros: Best was the attitude of the staff and value for money.
Cons: Room soft furniture.
Location: About a 10 minute walk to the old town centre.
We only had a two night stay and had decided to go for a hotel that was not at the high end of the price bracket. So, while this was not the greatest hotel we've ever stayed at, we were very pleasantly surprised and rated it as being superb value for money. All the staff were courteous, efficient and eager to please. One example was that my wife found the bed rather hard (she usually does) and within minutes of me asking if they could to anything, the staff came a stripped the bed and put a quilt under the sheet, which greatly improved it. The room was a perfectly reasonable size and furnished quite well with one arm chair and two hard chairs and a desk, although not at the luxury end of the scale. The room had a safe, fridge/mini-bar, coffee/tea making facilities and ample drawers and wardrobe for a few nights. There was a good sized flat screen TV with international channels and FREE Wi-Fi (albeit a little slow). The bathroom was very good and the bath towels were of good size and soft. We had a room overlooking the road, with the double glazed windows shut and the electrically operated shutters down we were not at all disturbed by traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was good, although not lavish, with a selection of fresh cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, cold meats and cheeses, cakes, pastries, fruit, cereals, juices, tea and coffee.

Verona - walking distance to TrainPosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall, we really enjoyed walking the whole city, seeing a couple of the churches and the nice architecture. Hotel was a pleasant stop on a train transfer between Milan and Munich.

Covenient stayPosted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel about 300 metres from the train and bus station. A further 600 metres takes you to the Roman arena and wonderful centre of Verona.

Its OK for a couple of nights, but very old fashioned and 15 min walk into old city.
