“Delightful find! Convenient location; friendly efficient staff; great value”
Verona is a delightful city. Genuine "old Italy", and exceptional dining. Never had a bad meal. Hotel is a short block off Piazza Bra, and a pleasant stroll from Piazza Erbe, where everyone seems to take their "Passiagiata". The hotel has an old, historic feel, and exceptionally well-maintained. Parking is a problem, with very limited hotel available spaces, and a garage fee of $28e per night. The staff was friendly, efficient and always available.
“Lovely Renaissance Hotel, with old world charm.”
loved it, older hotel, but really great place, awesome location to arena, guillette house, ponte bridges, main strip of restaurant and shopping. Loved the staff, friendly eager to help...if your driving, limited parking in the area as it is in all hotels in italy, but once you find the spot your set. love the location so ideal to everyhting.....charming, charming is the best way to descirbe it, even the old fashion big key.....
“A good hotel, but can use a renovation”
The location was great, the room was spacious with all you can expect in a 4-star hotel, but it was all in old traditions - a tiny TV, a metallic key on a heavy brass keyring which you have ask for every time you return, no buzzer at the front door - I returned at 3am and had to bang at the door with my fists for several minutes before a night shift employee woke up..
“Great discovery”
Went with this hotel on faith, wound up pleased beyond any expectations. Would be hard pressed to find better location in Verona, only one block off Piazza Bra, perfect spot for exploring city. Great room, but pillows were pretty stiff. Otherwise, was perfect.
“What a positive way to start a vacation,”
front desk, was extremly friendly, spoke English, very Helpfull. Rooms where spotless,Quiet, Our room did not have a great view, but that did not matter to us .Breakfast was just great, large variety of local pastries, meats.cheeses, fruits, elegant dining room, would stay there again. Only 1 block from center of town.. If you coming from the Rail Station take a Taxi, We would not have found it otherwise.
“would use again”
Great location for tourist activties. Nice breakfast. Clean. Efficient courteous staff. Virtually no parking, but we didn't have a car. Street noise an issue with early morning trash trucks. would not hesitate to use again upon return to Verona.
“Excellent Service.”
Exceptional service, professional staff , and a great location.
“Really impressed!”
Our room was very comfortable, with a small sitting area. The bathroom was larger than most I've seen in travels through Europe. We had windows that opened to a courtyard area. It was a quiet room, and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. They took orders for coffee, cappucino, espressos, hot chocolate, etc...They had fresh croissants, and other danishes, and meats. fruits, scrambled eggs. The staff at the breakfast room was very attentive, and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for friends or family traveling to Verona. The walk to 'Juliet's House and balcony' was only about a 10 minute stroll. Lots of great shopping very close by also, less than a 10 minute walk.
“Great hotel - great location”
The hotel was tremendous. The rooms were spacious - especially by European standards - and well appointed. Nothing shabby about the hotel at all. great location approximately 1/2 block from Piazza Bra and the arena. We loved Verona and the hotel i definitely somewhere we'd stay again.
