Central and comfortablePosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Everything was of a high standard and well thought out.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast does not taste nice. Better order the cappuccino.
Location: Lovely restaurant is the Cantina de Arena. Walk along the river to San Zeno. High class shops.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main tourist sites and some good restaurants. The nice touches in the hotel were the comfortable lounge, free drinks and nibbles. The beds are good and the room was spacious, and the bathroom fitted with excellent showers. Fluffy towels too.

Suburb location for sight seeing, lovely room, helpful staff -can't praise it enough. A wonderful start to our holiday. The buffet breakfast was first class. Car parking right in the middle of ancient Verona. Would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Perfect hotel for exploring lovely VeronaPosted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Location, really pleasant and helpful staff, free drinks and snacks in the lounge area in the afternoons, free wifi and English newspapers.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Apart from the well-known sights try also to visit the giardino Giusti (Giusti gardens) on the east side of the river for great views over the city.
Our three day stay in Verona was greatly enhanced by our experience at the Accademia. Located right in the middle of the historic old part of the city, moments from the main sights such as Juliette's balcony and the Arena as well as being right in the heart of the pedestrianised shopping area and only a five minute walk to either of the two main squares, Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe, the Accademia is the perfect base for exploring wonderful Verona. Hotel staff, whether from the reception, room maids, bar and restaurant waiters etc. were, without exception, friendly and helpful, always with a cheerful smile and a 'buongiorno'. All were multilingual and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel is traditional in decor but well maintained and very clean. Room was large and comfortable with well equipped bathroom and comfortable firm bed. Sheets and towels were changed daily and used soaps, shampoos etc quickly replaced. Breakfast was excellent with a constantly replenished buffet of cereals, yoghurts, fruit, breads, cakes, scrambled or boiled eggs, cheeses, cold meats, juices and more - something for everyone. Beverages of your choice are served to you at the table. The hotel restaurant is also very good with excellent Italian food at not too outrageous prices. Overall, we couldn't fault the Accademia. It was certainly one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Italy and we would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Verona.

Nice hotel close to everything.Posted Oct 14, 2014
Checking in and out was efficient. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a welcome sitting room where you can help yourself to juice or presecco between 1 and 4. The location is an easy walking distance to the old town. Verona is a lovely city. Good place to shop. Also Verona is not as crowded as the bigger Italian cities.

Perfect LocationPosted Oct 13, 2014
This place is a real gem. Not inexpensive but a true value. The room was terrific. Bathroom spacious by European standards. The breakfast spread was amazing. Furnishings were top quality. Location couldn't be better. I was amazed by this property. And Verona is a wonderful place to visit. Would go back here in an instant and stay longer next time.

RIGHT BETWEEN THE BEST POINTS OF INTEREST ...Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: CLOSE TO POINTS OF INTEREST AND THE GREAT, WARM SERVICE PROVIDED AT THE RECEPTION DESK
THE RECEPTION WAS A MAJOR ASSET. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GOOD BUT NOT EXCELLENT COMPARED TO THE STANDARDS WE EXPERIENCED ELSEWHERE (PARTICULARLY IN FERRARA).
