Very good hotel, in perfect location.Posted Jul 22, 2014
The hotel is nice, clean, and very very quiet at night. The rooms are of good size and breakfast offers good choices. The location could not be better!

Great locationPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Very well located and very clean. Staff are very helpful. One of the best showers on this trip.
Cons: Coffee at breakfast was awful. WiFi very poor. No drawers in room, very limited storage for clothes. Laundry charges excessive.
Location: Arena, local attractions and great shopping very close. Variety of restaurants nearby. Suggest buy opera tickets at ticket office beside Arena.
Stayed 5 nights and couldn't fault the location. Very close to the Arena and many attractions in the old city with good selection of restaurants close by.

Great hotel in central location.Posted Jul 7, 2013
Room - good size with desk and chaise, could do with more storage for clothing. Sheets changed every day.. Effective Air-con. Bathroom good but could do with more storage space for toiletries. Location - Excellent, close to Arena in a quiet street. Breakfast - Excellent, good selection and constantly replenished. Staff - excellent, Alexandra at Reception especially helpful, making reservations, recommending restaurants etc. Lift from ground floor making it suitable for wheelchairs.

Modern hotel in an ancient cityPosted Apr 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lovely hotel for this being part of Bestwestern. A very modern hotel with a nice large bathroom and bed. Very clean. The staff was great and very helpful when my camera broke. Being a photographer it was important for me to find a replacement and the staff helped me with this with success. The hotel is not too far from the Colosseum ..10-15 min walk to all the festivities. My husband really loved this hotel due to the modern decor, I myself prefer a little bit more of the old feel. But lovely stay and great breakfast in the mornings. The only hotel in the 4 we stayed in Italy that offered up gluten free choices. Those two days out of 18 we stayed around Italy I got to have breaky! Winning!
Great location but too expensivePosted Aug 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
Nice business style hotel within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Nothing special but good for a short stay and as you'd expect from a 3*. overly expensive with 4/5 star hotel rates. I paid less per day for a 5* luxury hotel in Lake Como in the same period.

Would stay again definitelyPosted Jun 11, 2012
Hotel Armando is centrally located in Verona with easy walking distance to nearby tourist attractions. The staff at the hotel are all very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and modern and fully air conditioned. Shower was lovely but cubicle was slightly crowded. Wifi was a bonus, and bed was comfortable Things that would make it even better: 1) Coffee and tea making facilities 2) Thicker blankets 3) more hot food for brekfast (although it was really good already) Overall great experience would stay again
