Good location in Verona for city break.

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: location , staff , room with balcony
Cons: Bedroom was a little on the small side for upgraded room
Location: Excellent location close to Arena for opera and easy walking over main part of historical city
Upgraded to better room with a balcony on arrival for modest cost. Breakfast good and varied choice. Staff were helpful. A restaurant a few yards away from hotel was great if the weather was poor.

Visit to Verona for the Opera in Verona Arena

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Very central, quiet, clean, friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Make the breakfast room totally non smoking. Smoking was tolerated in open courtyard.
Location: Perfect location for the Verona Arena opera season.
Second stay at Hotel Giulietta e Romeo, the previous 15 years ago. Even better this time, very friendly staff, excellent facilities although room on the small side. Very close to the Arena, especially important after Carmen finished at 1am! Receptionist recommended a restaurant which was very good.

Pros: Very courteous staff and highly efficient.
This is an excellent hotel, very well run and immaculate: a perfect location for visiting the historic centre of Verona or going to the opera in the Arena.

Great position just off the main drag

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Position, breakfast
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms would be appreciated
Location: Close to the Arena and shopping. Loved the Giardini Guisti. The hop on hop off bus was a great way to get around the town
We loved our stay here. It's situated just off the main shopping street and 100 m from the arena. It's a great position to see all that Verona has to offer but in a quiet street.

Pros: See above
Cons: Boil your own eggs for breakfast?
Location: Great location, quiet.
Good experience, memorable, would stay there again, staff helpful and go out of their way to make your stay great. Would like more English tv stations. And scrambled eggs and not boil your own...........""...........................................:-)

Perfect location to see Verona's historic sights!

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Great location and friendly staff.
Cons: Coffee maker in the room would be nice.
Location: The hotel is located within walking distance of many of the historical sites in Verona. Taxi from the airport took about 20 minutes.
I don't usually make recommendations about hotels, but on this occasion, I am delighted to say that our recent stay in the hotel Giulietta e Romeo in Verona was superb. The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes walk from the main arena in Verona. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was clean, albeit slightly smaller than we had been expecting. Breakfast was great and food was plentiful. Lots of information was provided about the area. Overall, a great experience. Hotel is highly recommended.
