Excellent location

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Rooms were large and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the staff really friendly and helpful.
Perfect location when travelling by car. Easy to find, free parking available on site and a bus stop to take you in to the city just around the corner . They also provided a shuttle bus to and from the arena on opera nights which was a great service.

One night in Verona

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Quality of rooms, shuttle bus service.
Cons: Improved glazing for rooms at the front of the building.
Location: Sightseeing in Verona, do take the opportunity to visit the opera, even if you are not a fan I think you will enjoy the experience.
We stayed one night at this hotel whilst visiting the opera. Immediate external impression of the hotel was not encouraging as it is a concrete monolith, however, we were pleasantly by the style and quality of the room. Staff were friendly and the free shuttle bus to and from the Arena for the show was excellent. Parking was also easy and we enjoyed our visit to this lovely city. We did not eat dinner at the hotel as we wanted to experience the city centre bustle. Our room was at the front of the hotel which is on a busy main road and we were kept awake by the sound of traffic, ask for a room at the rear.

Excellent Hotel In Verona.

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Hotel Leopardi is an excellent hotel in Verona. The hotel is about 20 to 30 min walk from downtown Verona: Piazza Bra. The room is quite large and very clean with king size bed. The bathroom is modern, a good size and also very clean. The AC works well. The hotel has free parking. The breakfast is ample: you can choose from a variety of pastries, cereal, fruits, eggs, sausages, cold-cuts, cheese. The hotel's restaurant is very good. The food is tasty and prepared with care. Many thanks to Simone for the excellent service. Many thanks to the staff: very professional and helpful. Lake Garda is about 30 Km from the hotel: highly recommended! We would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again.

Good hotel - not far from the centre of the city

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: Gym needs a bit more equipment
Location: Good local pizza/pasta restaurant and friendly bar close by
Good stay for a party of 6 over the opera season. Excellent shuttle service to and from the arena by-passing the taxi queues!

We stayed in a clean, large, comfortabl triple roo

Good in every respect. Bus into centre of town from next street (by Lidl) cost £1.50 to the arena. Walk in also pleasant along river. Free shuttles to and from Opera were excellent.

Nice spacious rooms.

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Free parking. Breakfast. Large rooms for 3 adults.
Cons: They charge 3 euro per day, per person for wifi connection.
Location: Arena di Verona for Opera.
A nice stay. Clean Rooms. Very informative & friendly staff. Stay includes an excellent breakfast with eggs, cheeses, and fruit, juices. Went to the Arena di Verona to hear Verdi's Aida. The hotel is a 25 minute walk into town center and the Arena. The hotel offers a free shuttle back to the hotel (and to the Arena) which was great at 1.00 in the morning. Free parking was really great too. They charge for internet.... wifi, 3 euro per day, per person.

Typical middle price tour hotel

We took a family room, it was clean, breakfast was good, the walk to the old city is not pleasant, although it's only a few blocks

Pleasant hotel

The Hotel Leopardi is clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. If I was being picky I would say the bed and pillows were extremely firm but I believe the hotel does offer alternative pillows.

Great hotel Great rate a little far from center

I love this hotel. I have stayed here before. The breakfast is great! The room was large and comfortable. I got a room with an updated bathroom which was nice. It is a little far from the center, but if you learn the buses, you can easily go back and forth. I walked most of the time because it is good exercise. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
