“Verona's Hotel Maxim”

A very good place to saty if you just need a place to sleep and the rest of your time you can spend in the city of Verona. It has good breakfast too.

“Hotelmaxim is great”

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Italy. Ilove the convience of having a grocery store right underneath the building. It saves on money.

“Lovely stay”

We met our son and his family from Brazil for a few days. The staff was very helpful in recommending sites to visit and explained how to take the bus to these places. (We did take taxis since they had small baby). We were so very pleased with the great restaurant. Great food in a lovely restaurant in a hotel is hard to find.

“Good hotel deal in Verona”

I spent 7 nights at the Hotel Maxim. My experience was positive and I would stay there again. The hotel staff was very helpful and the accommodations were good. I stayed in a standard room. The breakfast bar was very good and the fact that they served scrambled eggs made this American feel at home. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Also, the fact that the hotel is built on top of a grocery store added to the convenience.

“Wonderful Stay!”

They did not have our reservation but they put us in a room for the 1st night and upgraded us (to better than what we booked) for the following 9, plus they sent us champagne and fruit. The breakfasts were WONDERFUL but the dinners were awful. Not much selection and not fully cooked. The room was big with a futon and a large bathroom.Cleaned every day with bedding replaced.Staffs english was great.Bus was close & cheap.Verona was our favorite Italian city.Would love to stay again.Wish there was a Maxim in every city.

“Great Hotel!”

I wasn't really sure what to expect, but everything looked exactly like the photos on the website. Very large room, very reasonable price, quick train ride to Venice. Would stay here again!

“Maxim Hotel in Spring”

The hotel is in a very suitable place for touristic areas. The only negative point is that rather than a double bad, we had two beds put next to each other, which was not really comfortable for a couple

“Beds are on the hard side but Nice hotel and great full service breakfast”

The hotel was not as close as it seemed on the map to the center of town, which was dissapointing. We were planning in being able to walk from our hotel to see the sights and to get to the opera but we had to drive and pay to park at a garage in the center of town. Other than that, the hotel was nice. It was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful and everyone we came in contact with spoke excellent English. Thier free breakfast was wonderful, with a wide range of REAL breakfast foods (meats, eggs, fruits, etc.) as well as a large selection of juices, teas, coffees and soft drinks. It was all served buffett style and you were welcome to return as many times as you wanted. The room was small but very clean, with a nice tv, minibar, full american style bathroom and 2 twin beds. The beds were VERY small and on the hard side, but overall it was well worth what we paid for the room and I would stay there again.

“clean, comfortable rooms”

Although not in the center city of Verona, it is just a short 1.5 km drive into town. Clean and large room with a reasonable price.
