Part of an Italian tour

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Great presentation, spacious room, helpful staff.
Cons: Not much; it's all pretty good.
Location: Verona has some marvellous buildings and fascinating roman ruins. The opera in the colliseum is a wonderful sight.
This is fabulous hotel, supposedly three star but worthy of much more. Helpful staff, great room, excellent facilities and breakfast. Walking distance to all the main sites and the station.

Clean, friendly and everything you could expect from a 3 star hotel. Great breakfast choice, and central location. Would stay again

Comfortable and quiet, but very central

Pros: see above....
Location: A stone's throw from Piazza Bra and the Arena.... not to mention the other wonderful sights of Verona. Good restaurants also within walking distance
A very pleasant place in which to lay one's head after a busy day of sightseeing... clean, comfortable and quiet, with helpful staff. Delicious continental breakfast.

Hotel close to Arena and all sites of interest

Pros: Comfortable room and location-great if you are going to the Opera.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: sEE ABOVESEE
First class hotel in every respect but one. Room had very large very comfortable bed and excellent effective air conditioning. Bathroom large and comfortable to use. The hotel lounge was also very pleasant. The one disappointment was the breakfast. Possibly, the poorest that I've come across in the many hundreds of hotels I've stayed in. The fruit was canned, the yoghurts sweet and unpleasant and a limited selection of alternatives. Better just booking the room, since there are dozens of places to get breakfast inexpensively within 200 yards of the hotel.

Nice place

We really liked this place. It was a step up from some of our other stops. It was a little tricky to find. The room was super dark & quiet, glad we set an alarm. Wifi worked in room. The parking was strange & expensive but safe. The bellman walked with us to park & helped with luggage too. Would definitely go back. Location was perfect for city walking tour.

Very convenient - just two or three minutes to walk to L' Arena but the room and dining room were very dull and drab. Very good service, though.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location.

Pros: The free wifi. Since I was travelling by myself for a conference, it was important to be able to communicate with loved ones. I could skype everyday.
Cons: The free breakfast is nice, and the staff were wonderful, but more variety in the food would be nice. I got tired of eating the same thing everyday.
Location: The location is perfect. I could walk everywhere. It is just a stone's throw from Piazza Bra, and easy to find if you look for the McDonalds.
I spend almost a week here, and the entire experience was very positive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and I had a private balcony that overlooked a quiet area with trees. I was a bit disappointed that I was here a month before opera season opened, but one evening I opened my balcony door and heard an opera singer practicing somewhere below. I sat out on my balcony and enjoyed listening to her. My last day there, I checked out, left my luggage in an area of the lobby that I was assured was secure, and I spend the day sightseeing before my flight that night. My belongings were safe, and I was able to use the hotel lobby to rest and use wifi before getting a taxi to the airport. The wifi in the lobby was not as strong as in my room, but it was OK for sending e-mail messages and posting some pictures from the day on Facebook.
