Good family run hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Helpful reception staff. Calm atmosphere
Location: Very close to the Piazza Bra, which is where everything happens in Verona. Most attractions within easy walking distance.
Having had a bad experience at another B&B in Verona the Hotel Torcolo was a haven of civilization. Close to all amenities, but not noisy.

Good location for exploring VeronaPosted Aug 7, 2013
Good location for exploring Verona. This is quite a small hotel but the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and were able to give us information so we could make the most of our stay. The room was clean and functional.

Perfect Location, Excellent Value & Helpful StaffPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
This charming hotel is located just a block off one of the main plazas and within walking distance of all of the sites. It was an excellent value and their staff had all the information a tourist would need.

A gem of a hotelPosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in hotel Torcolo for 5 wonderful nights, taking in a visit to the opera, trips to Venice and Lake garda. The owners and staff of this small , friendly hotel could'nt have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is just around the corner from the arena, and the restaurant Nastro Azzurro just across the street was delicious. We ate there 3 nights and our waiter Daniel was so helpful.

Super friendly staff, who went over the top to help me. (Especially with parking in Verona's old streets)

Great Location in VeronaPosted May 27, 2013
The woman that prepared the nice buffet breakfast, especially eggs, did a great job. The WI FI, however, was not very good when I was trying to access my check in for my flight home.

Great location for site seeing in VeronaPosted May 24, 2013
Pros: The staff...they were so friendly and enthusiastic!
Location: GREAT location for site seeing in Verona
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel while visiting the beautiful city of Verona. We arrived early (our room wasn't ready yet) but the friendly woman at the desk showed us where to store our bags, showed us to a washroom where we could "freshen up", then gave us a map to Verona and circled the many sites we shouldn't miss. She also made some recommendations for spots to eat which we appreciated. When we returned after a quick bite to eat and walk, the room was ready. We found the room to be clean and spacious. The furnishings were older as was the bed...but it was fine. The location was awesome...we were right near the arena and could walk to all the major tourist sites. The breakfast provided was really good too....there were the usual pastries and coffee/juice...but also yogurt and scrambled eggs. I would stay here again.

Good value in VeronaPosted Mar 10, 2013
A small comfortable good value hotel in the heart of Verona, with a minuscule breakfast (but good coffee) in a minuscule room. Friendly and charming staff and within easy reach of a couple of good restaurants that are much cheaper than the Veronese average.

Review of the Torcolo hotelPosted Mar 7, 2013
Pros: Position, good staff, pleasant room
Cons: Noise of adjacent bathrooms
Location: Excellent for the Arena, the centre and not too far from the railway station
The Torcolo is a very pleasant hotel in a very good position close to the Arena. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and the decor is timeless, but functional. The breakfast is good by Italian standards having proper orange juice rather than some synthetic concoction and reasonably strong coffee plus a choice of expresso or cappuccino. There is little traffic noise, but adjacent bathrooms can be noisy. I strongly recommend this hotel.
