Some rooms are better - and some breakfasts!Posted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay - the wellness centre is lovely, where the staff were very helpful. My wife enjoyed her facial very much. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was very good - definitely worth staying in for - and the staff there were very attentive. Breakfast on the 2nd morning was as it should be - the staff were helpful and the food good. But the 1st morning - Sunday - was chaos - and not a very relaxing or welcoming start to the day. We were also disappointed with our room - in a hotel that advertises the special character of its rooms, it was ordinary. Maybe it because we got a good deal on hotels.com or simply because it was room 101?! We'd go back - but only if we got a better room. We love Verona.

As all the trimmings but, no real taste!Posted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
We advised the hotel that we would arrive early (1pm). The Receptionist took great delight in telling me that checkin was not till 2pm. They gave me a room 139 which was over looking the entrance and garden. It was okay except that there was no vision netting to offer privacy from other visitors to the hotel. Reception offered me another room located at the far side of the hotel which was no better or worse. We had lunch in the Restaurant which was dreadful, the chicken was not edible. The waiter offered to change the dish. We had a Tuna Salad which was presented in a 'pyrex' dish that was frankly on par with an Autogrill!. I was charged 34 Euro for that pleasure. On questioning it at check out I was informed 'that is the price in a 4 star hotel' sir!!. The hotel lives on the reputation that it is a 'Former Convent' of historic value. They fail to say it is poorly located on an industrial estate close to the airport. The service is sub standard and certainly not worthily of it's 4 Star Superior Status. My advice to any one looking to stay here is to shop around I think other places could offer better value for money.

Great hotel with fantastic staff throughout.Posted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
A lovely hotel, very accommodating staff, good food and a comfortable bed. It's right near Verona Airport so there is some plane noise (to be expected). I had an issue with something in the room and it was immediately fixed. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard but there was a build up of dust on the headboard shelf above the bed, it had not been cleaned in about a week. The hotel would not offer me an iron to iron my clothes, instead offering a chargeable service to iron them for me. With a meeting looming, it was not ideal but again, the staff are only following the orders of their boss. I would however have no hesitation in recommending this hotel though.

ThemenhotelPosted Sep 1, 2014

Prestation inégalesPosted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Piscine minuscule.
