The staff, particularly the owner's nephew, were extremely helpful and the property was beautiful and spacious. Stunning pool. We paid for a triple which meant we had a large room with real satellite tv (amazing for all sports, not just freeview) which we were so surprised and chuffed by. Definitely a great step up from the smaller double room. Will definitely return, wish we could have stayed longer.

The B&B is set in a beautiful setting, quietly tucked away in the hills above Verona. The room was very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was superb, especially the "Magic Potion"! "Add a restaurant & this place would be transformed"
What a fabulous building, beautifully converted from a farm 3 years ago to an exceptionally high standard. The rooms, with air conditioning, are equal to those of hotels charging 3 or 4 times the price. In fact I'm confident once this 'hotel' manages to acquire its full status with a restaurant the rooms will be far more expensive. When we stayed, of the 50 rooms available, at most only 3 were occupied, dont miss out on this gem, book!
The purpose of staying here was to visit Venice, and the following day into Verona for the opera. Access to both cities was extremely easy by car from this hotel.
Until a restaurant is opened, you will find VillaFranca a short drive away, with a good selection of restaurants and shops.
Whilst the staff we met were friendly and helpful there lacked any personality or atmosphere, not unusual for a hotel of this size, nothing which would stop us staying here again.

The staff were so helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Number 33 bus stops right outside and goes into the centre of Verona every half an hour...1 euro 50 cents. Taxi back after the opera was 15 euros. The little trips in and out of Verona were definitely worth it because the hotel is quiet and peaceful and you felt like you were miles away from city.

The owner was extremely kind. It was quaint and quiet, well maintained and beutiful and definately had the Italian villa feel. The Only downsides were the breakfast which was very minimal and the location. You absolutely must have a car. You must. ......We used the train. The train was a $10 euro taxi ride for two in EACH direction plus on the return trip you have to call for the taxi usin the Italian phones unless you have a phone that will work locally. If you want to be outside Verona and get the Italian villa experience this is it but ONLY with a car

We have just spent a fantastic return trip of 4 days and it is lovely to see since last summer everything is still perfect. The fridge was full of free cold drinks on the first day which is just what you need on arrival, then there is a supermarket 5 minutes away in the car for any further top ups. We found a lovely gift of a bottle of local white wine in our fridge 1 night and given a bottle of local red wine to take home. At breakfast we were given the loads of delicious breads, Parma ham & cheese, home-made peach fruit juice with ginger, yoghurt with muesli and jam. Also a different cake each day (croissant filled with chocolate spread, doughnut filled with custard, blackcurrant cheesecake, biscuit base with strawberry jam and on the last day toasted ham & cheese sandwiches !). Villa Eire is still good to eat in the evenings with Pizzas / Pasta but we found the fish dishes disappointing also beware of mosquito bites when sitting outside.
