“an easy tour of the Veneto”

If you are interested in a nice, comfortable hotel in Verona, reasonably priced and extremely well located (two blocks from train and bus station), with pleasant and helpful service, this is for you. While enjoying Verona, it was great to stroll over to the train station and go to Venice, Padova, Vicenza for the day - no driving, no parking hassles, all very convenient. We recommend it.

“Good day in Verona.”

This hotel worked well for our one-night stay in Verona since we arrived and left by train. The station is an easy walk from the hotel, and a somewhat longer walk to town, but very manageable. Since we left very early in the morning breakfast wasn't available, not even coffee, which would have been nice. Ask for a view of the back garden - very nice. Verona is a lovely smaller city and a nice way to break up a Venice/Milan trip. We would have enjoyed having an extra day to spend there. Our visit happened to coincide with the fall festival, giving us the chance to experience the flavor of an annual event of its citizens, in addition to enjoying the Roman coliseum & ruins, lovely churches, river walkway, Romeo & Juliet points of interest and the castle - lots to be seen, but can all be done all in a long meandering walking tour of the city.

“Nice 3 star hotel”

This is a very clean, decently-appointed although older hotel. The room was very adequate and comfortable. The location is very good close to the train station and about a 25 minute walk from the old heart of the town. This is a great value for the price. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Small room, but excellent customer service”

We had a great stay at this hotel. The management was directly involved with the service. They called us before we arrived to give us all the instructions an how to get there, gave us personalized attention and were permanently making sure we had a nice stay. Breakfast was excellent too.The hotel provided beach towels at no cost. The only problem was that the room was somewhat tight.

This hotel was wonderful. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. The free parking was unusual for Italy and the breakfast was very good. Close to train station, but a little tricky to find the first time. No gelato within walking distance was the only drawback, overall a fine experience.

“Great Verona visit”

We are an older couple. We travelled to Verona from Venice by rail and we were able to walk round the corner to the hotel with our luggage. busses including red bus were all available from the rail station. Old town of Verona within easy walking distance. Verona was fantastic - next time we will include a show at the arena in the centre of the old town. From Verona we took the train to Munich which was a most enjoyable trip and which we would recommend.

“Worked out just fine.”

Easy distance and easy to find from the train station, yet quiet area is a plus for this hotel. Also walking distance to the major attraction areas in Verona. Room was fine, and when the first room smelled not non-smoking the girl had no problem moving us. Very nice breakfast with great yogurt and granola among plenty of other things. Would definitely stay there again. One of the two nights we had two rather loud guys in the room next to us but what do you expect, it is a hotel and can't be helped at times.

This Hotel was fantastic. It was a short walk from the Train Station, and a short walk to everything in Verona. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. They even rented bicycles if you were so inclined. Breakfast was great. I would stay there again.
