Style and comfort in a magnificent old building.Posted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Beauty, comfort and great food.
Location: The arena is marvellous but see the Roman Theatre and bridge too.
We had trouble finding the hotel initially as our GPS wanted us to go the wrong way down a one way street but were eventually able to park opposite the door to unload luggage and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were offered hot drinks while we checked in and enjoyed the beautifully styled public rooms which retain ancient features amid modern luxury. Our room was simply beautiful with a marvellous marble bathroom. The tea (really good quality) and coffee making in the room was much appreciated as was the comfort of the bed with fine linen and down comforter. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of high quality choices plus hot food to order included. The hotel is right in the old city area and within walking distance of all the sights. The main piazza is five minutes stroll away and there are great shops everywhere. We found a great wine bar near the Roman Bridge where they make their own delicious pasta and serve top wines by the glass. Verona is very beautiful with lots to offer its visitors. I hope we get back there and stay at the Palazzo Victoria again soon.

Very pleasant hotel in a great location.Posted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Room quality and furnishings, and bathroom. The bar. Breakfast quality (the eggs are fantastic). Ideal location for the city center.
A charming hotel with well appointed rooms, walking distance from the center of the old city. Our favorite aspects aside from the lovely room were relaxing in the very attractive bar, and the breakfasts, with the best ever eggs, done to order, any way you want them. I would recommend this hotel. The perfect base for exploring Verona.

Perfect position beautiful modern and old fusionPosted Oct 30, 2013
Beautiful hotel, modern yet still keeping original old stone and displaying old mosaic flooring under glass. Room upgrade was amazing lounge 2 bathrooms jacuzzi bath and huge bedroom. Breakfast was high standard and plenty of choice. Great bar with inside and outside seating. Great position able to walk easily everywhere. The blue/red bus tour worth buying takes you everywhere and a fadt train to venice for the day only takes an hour.

One of the nicest hotels i've ever stayed in!Posted Oct 23, 2013
Location: The hotel is in a perfect location. It is a short walk to all the attractions and the good restaurants. Both the two main Piazza's are minutes away.
This hotel was perfect. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for four days in October. On arrival our bags were taken off us and the check in process was smooth. We were provided with a map and a guide book and helped with any questions we had. The room was outstanding from the start. It was kept cleaned for the duration of our stay and was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel was amazing, the breakfast tasty and well presented. The highlight though was the staff. They catered to our every need for the entire stay. They were friendly and polite and really made a great hotel a one of a kind hotel. When we return to Verona we will definitely be staying in this hotel!

Excellent central location. Lovely staff.Posted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Central location. Brilliant staff. Wonderful breakfasts (and cocktails).
Cons: Cheaper parking!!
Location: St.Anastasia best church. Via trota for best ice cream. View from Castel San Pietro. Osteria al Carrro Armato good food. Al Pompiere good chacuterie
Can't fault the staff or the location of the hotel. It was just unfortunate that during our stay there was building work going on next door and the noise was horrendous. We were pretty tired after our long journey but couldn't have an afternoon nap because of the drilling!! Luckily it was from 8am to 7pm which is when we were out an about so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience after the first day. Aside from that I would definitely recommend this hotel. the staff were really helpful, booking restaurants and helping with postcards, loose change for parking meters etc. Plus the cocktail bar is great, there's a tall guy with a beard who mixes the best martinis. Even if you don't stay here go and have a cocktail. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Lots of fresh fruit and eggs done any which way you want. The bed was great too as my husband is very tall and for once his feet weren't over the edge!! I would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to all the sights and if you don't want to pay the parking then the Arsenale car park is 15euros for 24 hours and a 5 minute walk away.

Good hotel for the operaPosted Sep 5, 2013
We went to Verona to see the opera in the arena, this hotel is located in a quiet side street about 6 minutes walk from the Piazza Bra. We booked a junior suite which was well equipped with a large modern bathroom, the staff were helpful and the the hotel offers free wi-fi and an excellent buffet breakfast. The restaurant is well geared up to pre-opera dining. Excellent!

Fabulous hotel in Verona centrePosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Everything- but particularly location, the design and the food.
Cons: A fluffy blanket on each bed instead of just one of them!
Location: Minutes walk from fabulous shops, Juliet's house, amphitheatre, cathedral and main piazzas. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants.
We had the most wonderful 4 nights in the hotel. Fabulous location, friendly welcoming staff, beautiful environment created with a mixture of roman ruins combined with modern decor. Gym was easy to use. Food fantastic and restaurant staff unfailingly attentive even at 130 in the morning after the opera.
