Perfect location, right by the main bus/ train station (termini) and not even a far walk from lots of sights. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and a brilliant standard of room cleanliness. I stayed here for six nights and honestly couldn't have enjoyed my stay better!

"Avoid the fourth floor"
Location good for bus, train, metro, taxis, restaurants, etc. A bit noisy but the excellent windows shut that out. AC nice and quiet. Breakfast is a bit of a gamble depending on which tour group is passing through. My party had two rooms booked, and my Mother who never complains about anything had already switched their fourth floor room by the time we arrived. Our room was also on the fourth floor and so small that you couldn't move around the room with the window open. Heck, you couldn't even see the TV with the window open. Then there was the shower. Be prepared to be jumping in and out of a shower that runs from scalding to cold every four or five seconds. We also switched rooms. The rooms on the fifth floor are much bigger, but the showers are just as bad. I noticed that the fourth floor buttons on the lift were not as worn as the others; indicating the lack of use that floor gets. I'm guesing they put people on that floor first and then move them if they complain. Having said all this, the hotel desk staff are very helpful.

"Will not return"
I was not expecting much from a budget hotel, but this was not good. The bathroom sink was largely blocked and not clean, the toilet seat was cracked, and the blankets threadbare, with no heating even though the temperature was low. Security was poor. We booked in advance to stay there four nights then two nights with a break in between of one night. If we had not booked beforehand we would not have gone back. There were four reception staff working individually and three were helpful, but not the fourth who spoke no English. On each stay we paid the night before leaving to get our passports back and clear the formalities with an English speaking receptionist. In each case the next morning on checking out the unhelpful receptionist insisted we had not paid until the receipt was put right in front of him. First time he said it was not in the diary, the second time I made sure it was in the diary and he refused to look there. The second stay this check out procedure was made even worse by the receptionist abandoning the desk before 08.30 and not returning until I had leant on the door bell for at least ten minutes, and this was after my wife had been around all the building trying to find somewhere we could leave the key and TV remote (none of the other hotels in the building would accept it). At the time we wanted to catch the bus to the airport so were nervous about the passage of time. One English channel on the TV would have been nice.
