"Fabulous place"
We stayed here over Christmas. It was lovely. Old world European charm. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff was excellent, true gentlemen and very helpful. The breakfast room was awesome, the staff there very accommodating. She made an extraordinary omelet for my husband. I loved that we could sit at the tables in a sunroom area of the lobby and order tea service. There was a bar area and they served complimentary drinks on Christmas Eve. The location was great; walking distance to everything yet in a quiet neighborhood so that you felt away from the tourists. I would go back there for sure next time when in Rome.

"A gem right in the centre of Rome."
Lovely and very helpful staff in a well decorated and well positioned hotel. Tip: Mirabelle restaurant/ bar is super expensive but has amazing view. We had drinks early evening to watch the sunset behind the Vatican ( 4 small beers and 2 sprites was €60 ) - most we spent on drinks on the trip, but great photos!

"Hotel Versailles"
Basic, but nicely furnished and clean. It had everything we needed. The location was good, about 20-30 mins walk to the centre meant that it was abit quieter and that the prices are a bit lower. A good selection of restaurants really close means that you don't need to go far in the evenings

"Beautiful hotel, great location, perfect staff!"
Stay at this hotel was so great! Perfect location Central to all the sights and hotel itself was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great every morning. Best part of our stay at this hotel however, was the staff. They couldn't have been better, from the big things like francesco booking our excursions to the small things like Daniele teaching me how to unlock the front door and taking the time to have a chat with us before we left about our stay. The staff at this hotel are what make it so amazing. Thanks so much for making our stay so great guys and hope to be back soon! :)

Where to stay in Via Veneto

Pocket Guide: Via Veneto, Rome Pet-friendly Hotels

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
