I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Majestic. The breakfast was very good and food in the restaurant delicious. Single rooms are small but well equipped.

"very nice hotel with friendly staff."
The hotel was very nice. It was very clean. The full breakfast in the morning was excellent. They had a 50% off happy hour every night, so a glass of wine was 2 euros. There are several good restaurants nearby. As a history buff I though it was interesting to see the Aurelian wall nearby. It is kind of far from the center of Rome, but the metro is a 10 minute walk and is easy to use. A cab ride downtown cost about 8 euro. Overall it was a great experience.

"Fabulous place"
We stayed here over Christmas. It was lovely. Old world European charm. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff was excellent, true gentlemen and very helpful. The breakfast room was awesome, the staff there very accommodating. She made an extraordinary omelet for my husband. I loved that we could sit at the tables in a sunroom area of the lobby and order tea service. There was a bar area and they served complimentary drinks on Christmas Eve. The location was great; walking distance to everything yet in a quiet neighborhood so that you felt away from the tourists. I would go back there for sure next time when in Rome.

"Great stay and fantastic staff"
We checked in around 10:00 pm. The hotel was quiet but the woman at the front desk was lively and extremely helpful. We got to the room and found the bed was not what we asked for and the TV didn't work. On our way back out we let her know and also asked for dinner recommendations. Dinner was great and when we got back she had a new room ready to go and it was perfect! The next morning we asked for advice on a couple places to go and means to get there and everything was spot on. Great staff here - truly.

    Via Veneto, Rome Hotel Guide

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
