The Location is pretty good. Relatively short Walking distance from most Areas and Close Metro Station. The hotel has a great, large bar/Lounge Area with inside and outside seating. The workout facilities are minimal and there is no Sauna. The room was pretty small but, then again, I didn't spend much time in it. Also, it was a pretty slow check-in process.

Great hotel in the middle of Rome. Wonderful staff and excellent facilities. Hotel charges a fee (19 euro/person/day) for the use of the spa. Seems excessive if someone just wants to take a quick dip after a busy day of visiting. Also seems niggling for such a luxury facility.

Hotel was great and the staff were really friendly. All spoke English well which helped a lot when my terrible Italian failed.
Room was comfy, smallish but with good Feng Shui; I felt good in the space. I liked the decor/feel but see photos as others may feel more comfortable in a hotel with a more modern feel.
I didn't think that the breakfast was that great and had breakfast in the hotel two of the four nights we stayed. I preferred breakfast out (coffee and croissants).
It took about 7 minutes to walk to the metro and that took one stop to get to Termini from where you could get the metro to whichever part of Rome you wanted to explore. Buses also stopped near the hotel but I didn't use them.
Area felt safe and I generally felt safest walking home on the wide straight streets (easily seen on map) rather than taking the metro after dark. I think the metro generally stopped running at about 9.30pm anyway.
Hotel is also a short walk from Villa Borghese which is a lovely big park with lots of trees.
Overall - Great!

Made famous by 'La Dolce Vita' film in 1960, the Via Veneto is going through a glamorous renaissance. Bars, restaurants, chic hotels and boutiques all vie for attention in the street which coined the expression 'paparazzo' – the surname of the photojournalist in the film. Nearby, the Spanish Steps are the place for lovers' trysts, shopping, and honing the Italian art of 'dolce far niente' – idling and people-watching.
