We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We booked a small room which was fine but the air conditioning was noisy and I asked the reception to turn it off at night. Breakfasts were very good, plentiful and varied.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The location is brilliant the bus station is a 2 min walk and the metro 10 min walk to all the Rome Attractions.

Gianni first contacted me right after booking and provided good info on how to get to the b&b from the airport. Once we arrived, he provided great info on the city and how to get around. The breakfast was served in the room and was a true European breakfast so don't expect pancakes and eggs but it was fresh and good. Gianni helped us book our trips and helped contact the airlines to find my luggage that was lost. The location was closeby to termini rail station and the metro and bus lines. The room was alittle small but was clean and was made up each day. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but clean and updated. If you are working on a budget, this was a great stay. Thanks Gianni.

Good: Room size, cleanliness, overall hotel condition.
Not so good: Not in the very center, but still conveniently located.
Excellent price/quality ratio.
It was my third trip to Rome and it was best hotel experience.
First time I stayed near Termini station, second time stayed near Pantheon. I and think Andy&Lu I had best stay and decent location.

Hotel Margaret was in a great location for us - handy for Termini station and Repubblica metro. It was also an easy walk to the Spanish Steps. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was plentiful. Our family room had lots of space and was really clean as were all of the common areas. A great find and we'd definitely go back.

Good: The location was great, very close to the main Termini station for airport and many other transport links and within easy walking distance of a number of sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we arrived early. We were able to leave our bags with confidence and they even placed them in our room for when we got back from exploring a few hours later. There are a number of restaurants on the same block as the hotel and the one directly next door had phenomenally good food at reasonable prices.
Not so good: the room we had was a little dated and worn with a few missing tiles in the shower but it was very clean. The noise insulation between the rooms wasn't brilliant but didn't disturb us when we were trying to sleep

First of all, this qualifies as more of a guest house than a hotel. There is no signs out front and was hard to find (especially since we arrived late). But the young man working the desk was friendly and accommodating.
The room was clean if not small and a little dated. Cold buffet breakfast was decent.

Overall, the hotel was in a good location -- easy to get to from the train station, easy to access transportation, and easy to get to sights without being in a tourist saturated area.
The room was cleaned well by the hotel staff daily. However, the room was looking a bit old; it needed new paint, and a headboard for the bed. If they took care of these small items, they could charge more for the room.
