Visited Italy for the first time

Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff no attitude, helpfull nothing too much trouble for them, excellent food, plenty of local dishes including fish and good local wines
Cons: The area is tired but ideal for relaxing, very few locals speak or understand English outside the hotels.
Location: Located next to good beaches with clear sea, quiet, hotel does pick up's and visits by arrangement to local area at a small cost. Local roads steep.
Four of us stayed there as we were attending a wedding locally, taxis are a bit scarce and in the evening prices double, doubling again after midnight. The hotel will ferry you about for little cost up to 23.00 We needed a place to stay and fortunately we picked well. As it was our first time in Italy we did not know what to expect but we found it to be of good value. Only problem we had was not with the hotel but the airports twice after checking in and recieving boarding passes complete with departure gate numbers the gate numbers changed while still displaying the original numbers on the departure lounge screens. Alitallia you need to do better as this caused a lot of unnecessary walking around and we nearly missed a connecting flight.

Buon Villaggio-Hotel adatto solo a Famiglie

Posted Aug 22, 2012
Pros: Posizione
