Beautiful surroundings. Room and bathroom a bit dated and could use painting. Breakfast very mediocre and at this star rating and price point, coffee out of a machine is unacceptable.

My mother and I had a great time at this hotel. She was visiting from the States for Mothers Day. She was comfortable and impressed. The local and service were outstanding. The staff were always helpful and approachable. I will be back on my own to relax here and get away from work and city life. I highly recommend.

I loved this place so much. I am a US Army soldier stationed in Vicenza. I brought my mother to Italy for holiday. She really enjoyed this hotel, it's history and the magnificent views. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. I will come again on my own if I need a weekend away. This is quite a hidden gem.

Worst stay in my life
There were not less than 40 bugs inside our suite, we didn’t sleep not even 1 minute because of those bugs. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and just stayed there that nightmare night, when I told the lady at reception that we were leaving the hotel she tried to charge us the three nights!!! I complained and after 30 minutes she “just” Charged us that night. I don’t recommend no one to go there, they do have a plague in all the hotel.

The climatic change in the Word recently made some surprising in the green area of the North Italy and some others areas ; even in New York as some USA Guest said me . Villa Michelangelo are in the mist of its 5 acre green area property and pest control in the season ( autumn and winter ) has regularly made . Villa Michelangelo is an XVIII Century Villa with a lot of exposed beams and could be some one is hidden in some fissure . All our staff pay a lot of attention in this matter with good result unfortunately not 100% in fact you are the only one who complained while the hotel was fully booked for more than ten days in the mentioned period ; we are very sorry for your experience but the climatic change in the Word and the consequences is nor under our or your control . sebastiano leder g.manager

A hotel with charm and style

Beautiful old villa just a few km outside Vicenza in a park like setting. Attractive furniture, stylish and with great service. Only problem is the lack of a shuttle to the center of town. It's to far to walk and taxis are Euro 20-25 each way

Comfortable Hotel & Great Views of the Countryside
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Villa Michelangelo. We were upgraded to a suite. The entire staff is welcoming and provides great service. Great views of the entire region and a lovely patio to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or spritz. The restaurant dinner menu offered a good variety of appetizers and entrees. Our only warning is the road to this hilltop hotel is winding and not lighted at night...so be careful and adventurous.

Romantic and relaxing stay
The hotel as stunning, romantic and has great views. Great place to unwind and relax by the outdoor pool. Food was decent but pricey. Tucked away kind of place.

Nice hotel in the countryside close to Vicenza
The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, 10 minutes drive from vicenza. Nice pool with great views. The breakfast was good but not amazing. The room was quiet and comfortable but could use some modernisation.

Beautiful Villa
This is a beautiful romantic villa atop a hill a few kilometers from Vecenza. There is nothing else to do in the area, but that is the point. This would make an excellent relaxing stop on a road trip across Italy. There’s a pool with a bar and great restaurant. The rooms are comfortable with nice views.

Good spot to go sightseeing from
The hotel is set in a lovely spot views are amazing, easy to get to all the major roads for sight seeing. Would love to go back in the summer when the pool would be open it closed about 2 weeks before we got there. The waitress who did the breakfast couldn't have been more helpful nothing was to much trouble. You must have a car there our satnav stopped about 2 miles away it is quite difficult to find in the dark had to stop and ask people where it was but everyone very friendly.Took about 1 hour from airport at Venice, quite easy to get to Lake Garda, Venice, Verona etc just make sure you have money for the tolls!

Beautiful peaceful setting in the hills
Wake up to the sound of birds instead of traffic and have breakfast on terrace overlooking the hills. Staff is pleasant and helpful, but seriously understaffed for breakfast and lunches if the hotel is busy. They are run off their feet. Taxis are readily available to go into Vicenza, but it is very difficult to fine your way there and back in your own car given the tangle of roads around Vicenza. Vicenza is a gem little gem full of Palladian buildings.

Fantastic but not central
To stay at this wonderful, you need to have a car. It is in the hills of Vicenza son it's not as if you get off a train and walk there however it's quiet and the staff are very helpful.

Very kind people, good rooms, all good except food and wine in the restaurant. Friendly service there, poor winelist and soso food. Just eaten once after arrival in the first evening. But the hotel is fine, rooms, landscape, birds singing in the morning, parking … all very nice.
