Pros: The views of the river
Cons: The whole facility needs to be redone. The rooms need to be gutted and redone. Carpet in rooms stink
Location: Location was great. Casinos were near. Watching the tug boats on the river was great.
You pay for what you get. The hotel had recently had a fire. Top floor was blocked off. The room we stayed in had a gross odor. Carpet was tore up and you could barely open the door. Some kind of stains on bathroom door not sure what that was. Comforter on bed had a big burn hole in it. The shower curtain was full of mold. The ceiling in part of the room was falling down. The staff there was great though. Very friendly. The view of the Mississippi river was awesome. Just wish that the hotel would put some money into their facility and fix it up a bit.

The linens appeared to be clean, but surfaces were dirty and sticky. The drawer fronts and the tissue dispenser were sticky. Also, when we tried to lock the deadbolt at night it didn't match the doorjamb so it would not lock. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked great. The hotel was easy to find and the view of the bridge was quite lovely.

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Hotel needs to be re-worked, carpet, furnishings, etc.
Location: Excellent location if you want to go to the casinos.
The rate was cheap, about $55 per night. The facility is in need of work and repair. Staff is friendly.

Convenient and cheap, but bring your own pillowsPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel had a recent fire, and part of the building was blocked off. The pillows and towels are really inadequate. The bathtub liner was coming loose. The view of the bridge over the Mississippi River is nice.

Close to the Casinos-but that's about it!Posted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was fairly clean, but there was a problem with the water pressure for both the sink and the shower. There was mold in the doorway from the sink area to the actual bathroom. The "continental breakfast" was a joke. There were bagels in the refrigerator, and not very many other options. No fruit, no danishes, so I had breakfast elsewhere.

Not worth staying in, Days InnPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rooms were dirty, the staff not to be found and the service lacking. I will not stay in a Days Inn, on any future trips. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

After I checked in, I was a little apprehensive to see a man sitting ourside on the walkway next door to my room. But I had no problem. The room was very dated & worn, but clean & AC cooled. It is an excellent location to get on & off I-20.
