A fantastic stay at a lovely little hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when required. The free shuttle was brilliant and we used it everyday meaning our hire car was a waste of money. Lol.
Local public transport was easy to use, easy to get to from the hotel via free shuttle. Very cheap too, Sorrento one way, Pompeii and Naples the other.
Perfect stay at the perfect little hotel. Photos on website do not give it justice. Even better than it looks!

My daughter was to be married in Sorrento and we wanted a hotel close by. Hotel Mary was a fantastic choice with its friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. We were able to relax by the pool and visit several of the local cafes around the piazza which was only a short walk away.

Villa Ketty is a guesthouse, not a hotel. If you like anonymity on your holiday, this villa isn't for you. However, if you like to be made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you've found the right place.
The villa is located around 10 minutes (up hill) from the main town. It's a fairly easy walk if you're reasonably fit/active. However, for those that don't fancy the walk, the family operate a shuttle between their restaurant (pizza metro) and the villa all day (until Midnight). The train station is close by (similar distance to the town), with services to Sorrento, Naples, Pompeii and other local attractions.
The Villa itself boasts an amazing panorama of the Bay of Naples from its immaculately kept terrace and gardens. The rooms, which are set around a communal area with tea/coffee making facilities and home-baked cakes, are clean and spacious. Whilst our room didn't have a walk-in shower, the bath and view more than made up for this very minor inconvenience.
Then there is breakfast, which the villa seems to be famous for. I wasn't disappointed. It is stunningly presented and includes fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, as well as cold meats/salads etc and freshly prepared local cakes. Each morning Antonio would explain to me which were which- the hardest choice being which one to try!
In summary, this was one of the nicest and friendliest places I have stayed and one of the few that I would go back to in a heart beat.

"Le Ancore is a great choice for staying in Vico Equense"
Fantastic experience. We were glad to have chosen it, and would definitely stay there again. The location was right near the water, at the marina. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, plus it had a nice balcony looking out over the water. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee, as is of course more common than not being in Italy, was delicious.

There are not that many beaches that are accessible in this area, not to mention very private. This facility has its own beach and swim area not shared with the marina or docks like a lot of the others that we observed. Relaxation was completely achieved at the opening of a beach side umbrella. Cheers.

This secluded resort really blew us both away; hidden in a cove down from Vico Equence gave it a very relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful cliffs and sea overlooking Mount Vesuvius. The hotel itself was lovely, well decorated with a mix of old and new style. The facilities were great and staff very welcoming who were happy to fulfil every request. The hotel private beach was lovely, mainly pebble but the sea was so close you weren’t walking in it for very long. There were mainly Italian guests at the resort which in my view is a good sign. The hotel restaurant although expensive was exquisite, the chef was amazing. The hotel is a short (though uphill walk) to Vico Equence, but the hotel offers a shuttle whenever you need it which will take you into town or the train station.
It’s the perfect base to explore the surrounding areas, like Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi, as well as the excavation areas of Pompeii and Herculaneum (the latter is the better site in our opinion)
The public transport system here is amazing and very cheap, catch the SITA bus if you intend to explore the Amalfi coast it was 6 euros each for the day and you catch this in Sorrento just outside of Sorrento train station.
I would recommend this resort to anyone; we had the most amazing time here in this beautiful hotel and hope to return one day in the future.
