“Totally happy with this hotel!”
Rooms were huge! Bathrooms are huge and clean! Excellent views of Zimbabwe area. Outside the main town but only 7 minute ride and totally relaxing. Staff went out of their way at any request I made. The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, very professional. A monkey came to my balcony to say hello. The room was clean and the bed was perfect. I had a fantastic time at Elephant Hills Resort and would definitely recommend it to all.
“Not memorable”
There was a doctor’s conference going on while I was there, so not really much "vacationer" action or fun. Not a lot to do at the hotel and you have to get a taxi into town. I would try the Victoria falls Hotel the next time. That is a very beautiful hotel and convenient location.
“Very nice, could be exceptional”
WiFi needs work, Hotelis showing its age and needs a rehab of the rooms. Still a very comfortable place to stay with a great staff.
“pretty good, but not great”
the hotel is very nice but the upkeep is lacking. state of the art circa 1985. floors in the rooms were dingy. scenery was amazing, staff was very friendly and food was great. wifi was spotty at best. overpriced for what you get, but still a very nice place
“nice hotel in best location.”
Nice hotel in a best location with a best view of top of the green lands, Zambezi river, and uprising mists from the Victoria falls. great restaurant. High speed internet, always connected. It was just the TV that was disappointing. But we had a great time in Elephant Hills hotel.
“Great hotel for families and who likes the quiet r”
Very friendly people with low communication skills - especially in the restaurant. The quality of the foods are questionnable - not the taste, but the used materials. Poor internet system -the required reconfirmation of the flights were almost not possible. Transfers are too expensive.
“Maybe 20 Years Ago”
Maybe 20 years ago, but not by today's standards. Rooms need serious updating. Staff was friendly, but not too much so. Food was mediocre at best. We were told on the wayto our room upon checkin that we were on the VIP floor--can't imagine that it was recently. Maybe 20 years ago, but not today. Also, you need a cab to access the falls and all other things to do, which is not much in Victoria Falls. Try someplace else. Water did not drain properly in bathtub/shower; A/C termperature was tepid at best and when ceiling fan was turned on it made so much noise it had to be turned off. Charged for 2 bottles of water on the way out--felt like we were being nickel and dimed. Also, Boma Restuarant is a touristy "herd them in and out" restaurant.
