My husband and I stayed at Ursula's for 6 days and we absolutely loved it. We chose the property for the access to nature, privacy and quiet--we were not disappointed in anyway. The staff was incredible, the food was excellent (menu is small, but there is the easy option of eating dinner at the sister property if you desire!!!). I was deeply sad to leave, and am already planning our return. Housekeeping was outstanding, Lorraine was our main point of contact and we loved her so much, and our favorite server was Brutus xxx

Great lodge
Very helpful and friendly staff. Out of town lodge so very quiet. Plenty of wildlife using the water-hole every day. Facilities good

The property is a real gem, remotely located but still a short taxi ride to the falls. staff and particularly Milly went above and beyond. would highly recommend this location if you’re visiting Victoria Falls

A nice quiet location close to but at the same time removed from the township of Victoria Falls. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A home away from home. Would happily visit again

This property is a gem. It is quiet with its own private game reserve and a watering hole in front of you. Well visited by animals! The bird life is outstanding. We awoke at sunrise to the most lovely birdsong and the resident troop of baboons kept us entertained. Milly and her staff were outstanding, attentive, kind and so helpful. The perfect host for a vacation of a life time. We will be back with the whole family! Thank you Milly 🤗🤗

We (my wife and I), had a great stay at Ursula’s (surrounded by bush some 15km from the town of Victoria Falls). The staff was super helpful, efficient and friendly. The setting is great, with a water hole in near but safe proximity to each two-bed unit (electric fenced for the safety of guests and staff alike). To top it all, Ursula’s is good value for money. Transport arrangements by the staff was spot-on for our day excursions and our back-and-forth trips to the airport. No car rental was necessary. The few kilometers travel from the main tar road into tne bush, was a nice reminder that we were away from the town centre yet close enough to the falls etc. Street vendors and high pressure for a sale was bothersome to us; we feel for vendors’ need to make a buck, but they tend to be to close for comfort.

The staff are exceptional people. Willing to assist and attentive. Special mention has to be made of Olivia whom I regarded as our Entertainment Manager and Michael who was our Game Drive Guide. After only 3 days we felt sad when leaving.

Happy finale to our adventures in Zimbabwe
We had a wonderful stay at the end of our holiday for three nights breakfast included. The team there looked after us marvellously. They arranged trips and activities that we requested well and advices us on safety and what time of day was best to do these sort of activites. We even were woken up by the team so that we could see the wild rhino walk past the lodge which was very considerate. The breakfast was filling and well presented. It was all in all very peaceful and made for a lovely place to rest day before travelling home.

Wonderful lodge!
It was great to find this wonderful small lodge with free shuttle to Victoria Falls. Staying in town is not necessary when you have this beautiful property as a retreat. The hospitality of Olivia, and the food prepared by a dedicated chef, went well beyond expectation. It is a piece of paradise. Book it if you can!

Old Ursula Camp
We stayed a week and it was fantastic. The chef was in fact our own personal chef and he produced excellent meals. From the front of our chalet we were able to see a selection of wild animals literally doing their own thing and it really was brilliant.

If you love nature and a very peaceful place to rest then this lodge is for you. You will enjoy the view of some wildlife attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a pool at the lodge but it is not very clean.

Un albergo in mezzo alla savana.
L'albergo si trova fuori di Victoria Falls per ca. 20 km, proprio nel niente! Molto tranquillo per chi piace la savana. La televisione non serve, si va all'letto presto per alzarsi prestissimo. La cucina è molto buona per la scelta limitata, la colazione è un po' scarsa, ma eravamo in mezzo all'Africa! Il personale gentilissimo, affidabile in tutti i sensi, onesto e sempre disponibile. Ideale per una vacanza di relax, se non stressato del safari. Le cascate di Victoria sono vicini come la passeggiata a piedi con i leoni.

Old Ursula Camp Victoria Falls
Cet hotel fut une bonne surprise; il ne s'agissait pour nous que d'avoir une base proche des chutes Victoria pour les visites, et nous ne nous attendions pas a un sejour de qualite a l'hotel. A l'arrivée, personne pour nous accueuillir et l'endroit est desert, mais tres vite nous comprenons qu'il s'agit en fait d'une dependance de l'hotel Stanley & Livingstone, et le management de cet hotel nous rend visite pour nous rassurer. Nous sommes les seuls au camp (qui comporte 4 bungalows) et une personne (Albert) s'occupe de nous en permanence, pour preparer les repas et nous les servir. Nous faisons usage du camp comme bon nous semble, il comporte une piscine, un ancien batiment de type colonial, ainsi qu'un jardin avec une vue magnifique sur la foret. Le soir les singes, antilopes et buffalos viennent au camp juste en face des bungalows. Le tout dans le calme et la serenite la plus complete, Albert s'occupant de tout avec soin pour nous divertir et nous raconter l'histoire du camp. Les bungalows sont assez simples mais la construction est de qualite et ils sont bien entretenus. Notre seule mauvaise surprise fut le prix des repas a regler au depart, ils sont 2 fois plus chers que ce que l'on nous a annonce a l'arrivee, mais apres discussion nous ne payons que ce sur quoi nous avions donne notre accord. Le soir un personnel de securite fait le tour du camp avec un fusil, cela peut surprendre mais vu le relatif isolement du camp cela peut se comprendre. Au final nous gardons une tres bonne impression de ce sejour, du principalement au fait que nous etions seuls a disposer de l'ensemble du camp.

Ez a szállásunk volt a legnagyszerűbb élményünk a 26 napos nem kevés élménnyel szolgáló utazásunk során. Ez a szállás nem egy szálloda. Ez a szállás a Victoria Falls nemzeti park területén található benne a természetben. Csak 4 bungalow és egy étterem tartozik hozzá - de kertje egy igazi vadaspark. Egy kis patak folyik át a szállás előtti tisztáson, ahová reggelente és estefelé jöttek a szebbnél szebb vadállatok inni és legelni. 10-12 db nagy kudu, 4-5 db viziantilop, 8-10 db impala, 4-6 db zebra, egy nagy majomcsalág és egy zsiráfcsalád alkotta a rendszeres látogatók táborát. Nekünk csak ki kellett ülnünk a bungalow előtti padra és csendben figyelni az állatokat. Természetesen a vacsorák is kitűnőek voltak - köszönhetően szállásunk szakácsának. Javasolnám azonban, hogy a szállás megközelithetőségét jobban adják meg, mert eléggé nehezen találtam meg - de megérte !
