Breathtaking high ceiling chalet!

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The atmosphere, decor, succulent food, and friendly staff.
Cons: Replenish used toiletries. Advise guest of omelette, bacon and potato. Add standing binoculars on the deck for a fee. Onsite ATM.
Location: Perfect location for given complimentary hourly shuttle services. The location is secure too.
This lodge exceeded my expectations, I was in paradise! Rustic green friendly atmosphere with natural outside light. Electricity worked well. Ceiling fans upstairs bedroom loft and on the main floor along with AC, Greeted by warm friendly staff with a cool drink and cool wet face cloth- appreciated after long flight. Room cleaned and refreshed daily with coffee and tea restocked too. My bed was turned down wiith bednet. Room was stocked with insect repellent included spray and cream (excellent if you didn't want to inhale the fumes). Succulent plentiful diverse breakfast buffet that included omelette and potatoes that were not listed on the menu. Spectacular view from my lodge of the waterhole where the animals (elephants, etc.) come to drink. Best pristine bathroom with an amazing separate shower and bathtub. Beautiful bedroom and bath linen. Provided hourly transportation to downtown including Victoria Falls and places to eat and shop. Also transportation to the famous Boma Restauarant. Wireless internet is included. Plenty activities available that the hotel will coordinate for you. Awesome experience and reasonable if you travel off peak as I did. Hotel and downtown souvenirs and shopping overpriced given cheap labor in Africa. Amazing lodge!!! Single traveler had a fantastic experience.

Great place to stay

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Service of the staff. Position away from town but with regular shuttle. Spacious clean room with view from balcony.
Cons: Better service in the bar area, the afternoon I was there no table service despite less than 10 people seated.
Location: Couple kms from Victoria Falls town but hourly shuttle so it was nice to be removed from the town. Obviously you need to visit Victoria Falls.
Situated a short distance from busy Vic Falls town, this lodge is in an ideal location with beautiful surrounds including the waterhole visible from the room balcony as well as restaurant and bar. Room was immaculate, comfortable bed and large shower with amazing water pressure. Only fault was minibar was locked so I could not refrigerate my water. Had dinner at the restaurant on my own and enjoyed great food ( recommend the warthog) and professional friendly service.

Beautiful View, Check, Amazing Rooms, Check

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed everything quiet well.
Cons: Serve food to later in the evening or stalk some snack items in the mini bar.
Location: Victoria Falls, Elephant Safari, Lion Encounters, Private Reserves, Helicopter Tours, Bun-jee Jumping
Amazing customer service, view, rooms, amenities, and food! The room was very impressive that was 2 levels with a balcony that overlooked the water hole. In the evening I saw elephants, birds, wart hogs, etc at the water right from my balcony. One other call out is that the hotel gladly arranged for airport pickup and additional activities. I was skeptical at first but later was able to confirm that the hotel did not take on charges to book all the activities I had requested. So I was very very pleased with this.

Lovely lodge, great location

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Fantastic location, lovely staff, lovely rooms all with balconies overlooking the watering hole
Cons: Pricey as you might expect, but well worth it.
Location: Located just outside Victoria falls town, in the midst of beautiful national park. Falls are just a free shuttle bus away
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Beautiful lodge, amazing location on edge of Victoria Falls national park over watering hole where passing elephants and giraffe stop by for a drink...Good food, nice rooms, great wifi for those on working safari
