Old and cheap

Only minimum maintenance has been done to keep up this hotel. Everything is old and cheap looking. The linens and toilet were dirty and the AC compressor was loud. A plastic cover was under the bed sheets to protect the lumpy mattress and maybe keep out bed bugs.

If all you need is a place to sleep.

If you are expecting top notch amenities this is not the motel for you... but if you just need the basics e.g. clean bed, A.C., basic cable TV and bathroom then for the price you can't go wrong.

close to the water

Our room was very dusty, like it had not been cleaned in a while. The tv remote did not work and there was no channel line up in the room to know what channels were on. The carpet is very old and needed a good vacuuming especially along the walls. The whole room needed a complete renewal. Also the desk attendent put us in a room right next to two other rooms rented when the whole hotel was empty! The breakfast was very limited. The hotel staff was not very friendly. Will not stay there again.

Mistakes in hotel setup

Very Bad Stay. First off, when they issued the room to me, someone was still in the room. On the second room, I could not change the Air Conditioning Temperature. The third room that she gave me was very good. The Bar did not open up till 8PM when it was supposed to open up at 6PM. Just a bad situation.
