Using Expedia, this is not a hotel to prepay for multiple nights if you are not previously familiar with the hotel. We booked for 5 nights and moved out after 2 if no refund. Rooms are particularly small. We were given a room in the basement with a view out our window to the undercarriages of vehicles in the parking lot. Nobody entered the room (for cleanup) following the first night.

Easy access to Victoria

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Clean, half way between Elk Lake and Victoria.
Location: Easy to get into Victoria, so plenty to do. The evenings.
Stayed for 2 nights, rowing Regatta at Elk lake (less than 10 mins away).

The family of four stayed in the hotel for 4 nights during swim meet. Room was clean, there was a microwave and a mini fridge. Rooms are smaller then most of the hotels that we stayed in so far . The price was alright compering to other hotels in Victoria. We just slept in the room and were all day at the pool. If you need place that is affordable and just to stay few nights I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and staff was friendly.

Close to Downtown Seattle

The room is a tight space with no elevator . Pulling multi heavy luggages up the steps were not pleasant. However, the room is rather clean.

It is the lowest price that I could find

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Cons: Provide more towels
Picked this hotel because of the lowest prices I could find to stay two nights. For this price, I could not ask for more. The only thing I wanted to complain was towels were not enough for 4 ppl.

Beware...bad experience

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Not much from above
Cons: They can control guests better
Location: Was okay to get to coho ferry.
We had to overnight 1 night in Victoria prior to heading to US Open. Had problems at last locale so thought we would try this. Older and room was clean but small. To bed early as up early in AM to travel. About 1AM people in next room came home and had guests in room. Chatter and drinking went on. Figuring they would shut it down soon I waited til 3AM til I call the desk. He came down and told them to cease but they still continued for another hour. No sleep...3 hours all night and had to drive the next day...not happy. On checking out at 6AM...asked desk clerk if was the one I called last night. Yes. Told him how unhappy I was and what my day was going to be like. He wanted to know how many times I had called? I flipped and said the fact that I had to call at all was more than too much. He fired excuses at me that they had been having problems with a film crew in the location. I said that not my problem...it's yours and now I'm your problem. What next. Said he couldn't do anything but would talk to manager who did call while I was in Tacoma. He has offered me a free comp room on next stay in Vic. Something I guess, and may give it a shot again...but did not make up for that short sleep. Hmmm...they get a second first impression.

Too Far from Inner Harbor

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Liked the price and the cleanliness of the room. Also liked that it had air conditioning. Bus stops available within a block of the hotel.
Location: Inner harbor and Butchart Gardens available by bus. There is also a major mall about a mile away.
Hotel's room rate was quite a bit cheaper than comparable hotels, probably because it is located 3.5K from inner harbor. Did not realize that when we booked. Room was clean, albeit rather snug. Bed was comfortable. Arrived on Sunday. Most restaurants in area were closed.

Ok

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Cons: Keep trying to make improvements.
Obviously an old building that they're doing what they can to keep up. But furniture, walls, and windows show the age. Sheets were stained. There was a problem with the wifi. There are long term tenants in the building. Be sure to request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the west side so that you can open your window in safety and not be facing a busy road.
