We loved Victoria, a picturesque town, small enough to walk almost everywhere. Craigdarroch Castle is a must, also Fishermans Wharf with its colourful houseboats and many eateries. Plus the scenic waterfront. Bucharest Gardens, half an hours drive out of town is also not to be missed.

The hotel is a little out of the way, but situated nicely with pleasant walking trails just across the water. The hotel is older but seems to be well maintained. Looks like lots of businesses use it. We go there mainly for the breakfast, which is far and away the best of any of the budget hotels in Victoria. The breakfast room overlooks the water and has a patio for when the weather is good.

Great location, close to airport and convenient for Victoria and area. On highway but no intrusive noise, could sleep with window open all night. Moc Tudor done perfectly, creates great ambiance. Very clean and comfortable. Good size rooms, bed very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Make sure you say Hi to the real waddling dog, Basset Hound named John. Excellent breakfast included in the room rate. Good restaurant and pub on site.
