Overnight Stay

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Large room. Close to shopping and restaurants. Close to business.
Cons: Upgrade the décor.
Location: Shopping mall across the street and close restaurants.
I was only in town for the night and the price on this was comparable to everything else and it was close to where I was conducting business the next morning. It's easy to find and is across the street from a shopping mall and close to restaurants. It's attached to a bar & grill and while it wasn't super noisy, a few patrons went outside, possibly to smoke and didn't use their talking volume buttons, but it wasn't terrible-nothing to complain about. I liked that there was a window you could open. The staff was very friendly. Answered all my questions and kept me in the main section of the hotel so I didn't have to walk too far. The hotel is older and the décor in the rooms is too. But the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, not a bad experience.

It was only 2 blocks away from my relatives.

Pros: It was close to everywhere for us.
Cons: The breakfast. It was terrible. there was nothing left when we got down at 8:30. I thought it was over at 10:00!
Location: There is Mayfair shopping center a block away and I notice you can catch the double decker bus right across the street to go downtown and the Bay area
It was a very quiet room to come back to at night. We enjoyed the couch to watch the news at night.

Good location, clean and quiet.

Pros: The hotel was clean, quiet and good price.
Location: Mayfair Mall is across the street and restaurants are a short driving distance. Save-On Foods Memorial Center is within a five minute drive.
My husband and I go to Victoria frequently and have stayed mostly in hotels in the inner harbour so this was a change for us. The location is within walking distance to Mayfair Mall and a short drive to a variety of restaurants. The room was clean and it was one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed at. The included hot breakfast buffet had a nice variety and we appreciated the free parking. We will definitely stay here again as it is a good dollar value.

Easy to find when not used to city driving.

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: It was easy to find.
Location: It was a short trip to downtown Victoria and across the street from a large mall.
We stayed one night. Were very pleased with free breakfast but would go earlier next time as it was very busy when we got down to the restaurant.

Good central hotel.

Pros: Room was nice and clean, and well maintained by cleaning crew. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Larger T.V. Screen for watching for movies. We had a corner room (202) and would have enjoyed a balcony during the beautiful weather we had.
Location: Great location, close to shopping and good restaurant (Red Robbin)
We really enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn. It was nice and central to shopping, downtown, many tourist attractions and the university which was the main destination of our trip. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
