"Relaxing and terrific service"
We stayed at the Victoria Regent after being on vacation for 2 weeks at a wide variety of locations. This hotel was a welcome luxury compared to other spots we had stayed, even though it was about $75 cheaper than one of the ":top" hotels we stayed at earlier in the trip. The hotel was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do, had a lovely balcony that we enjoyed every day, and had all of the amenities including a very delicious breakfast buffet. Additionally, the hotel had washers and dryers on every other floor (only $1 for a wash), which was VERY welcome after traveling for 2 solid weeks. The only small draw back was that it was located in a area that had a noisy night life and we were enjoying keeping the patio doors open. We solved this problem easily by closing the patio door and turning on the A/C which was enough to drown out the majority of the noise associated with the night time revelers.

"Exactly what we were looking for!"
Within a short walk to the water front. Friendly staff and a quiet environment, so spending time together is easy to do with the busy streets. By the water front there is lots to see and lots to do for just about everyone! I can’t wait to get back and do this all over again

"Iconic Hotel in the best location on the Harbor."
Grand public spaces in the original buildings. Wonderful Veranda on the harbor for outdoor eating. Exceptional staff. High Tea was a very nice event with great snacks and beautiful bone china made for Queen Elizabeth's visit in 2002.

"Great history and location"
We went to explore Victoria's history and this was a great place to start. We loved staying at the mansion because it was just something out of the ordinary. The staff was super friendly and I will book a room here again for our next trip.

"Comfortable hotel, great location, great walks"
We stayed in the Heritage House. The location made all the attractions of downtown Victoria easily accessible by walking - no need to worry about parking. We explored Chinatown, shopped in a variety of interesting stores, had meals in great restaurants - and then had pleasant walks back to the hotel. Heading in the other direction from the hotel, we strolled around Beacon Hill Park and walked down to Dallas Rd and across to the beach. Lovely. There is a corner store just down the street from the hotel, where we purchased coffee cream and snacks. There was a fully equipped kitchen in our suite, and although we only made coffee there, if one were ambitious, one could cook a full meal there. This hotel is well suited for adults. I am not sure that small children would have as great a time.

"Great location"
Was fantastic although I did not receive the ama discount, was told parking was free because of this and got charged for parking as well. It would also be nice if they say that the shuttle service is not included with the hotel fee. I discovered it was quite expensive and would have arranged a ride if I knew this. Albeit this, beautiful facility.

"Very nice hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room was a little on the smaller side but was still adequate for what we needed. Complimentary shuttle service was amazing but they need more people staffed so that can run more efficiently. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone.
