Hotel close to waterfront.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Appearance of the structure.
Cons: The bathroom was really small.
Location: Location was excellent.
This hotel was rated 4 star. NOT a 4 star hotel. The hotel looks really good and is close to waterfront but the bathroom was really small, could not open the door if the floor mat was on the floor. No place for towels. Bath fan did not work. The main restaurant was closed. Cafe food selection needs improvement.

Nice hotel, excellent location

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Our family of four were staying there for 3 days, and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean. My only disappointment were bed size - we got a room with two beds, expecting queen sizes, but there were full sizes instead. Also, there was very little closet space available in the room, not enough for two people, definitely not enough for 4 of us. And there were only 3 tiny drawers. Other than that, everything was ok.

Location perfect for Seattle Ferry users, rooms with harbor view too pricy for our needs.

So Convenient and Nice!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
This hotel was directly across the street from the Black Ball Ferry where we arrived in Victoria and just a few more steps away from the Victoria Clipper. It was so convenient to the many activities in Victoria.

Great location at the Victoria Inner Harbour

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Location, and front desk staff
Cons: Restaurant service and breakfast (value) prices .
Overall, the hotel staff are terrific. Exception is the breakfast restaurant where we left without being seated. We waited about 5 minutes without being seated.

Victoria, grand pacific hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Location and ambiance.
Cons: A laundry factility.
Location: It was centrally located, so next door to the parliament buildings, RBC museum, restaurants, waterfront, tickets for attractions.
Location of hotel was perfect, right on the waterfront, very clean and elegant. Hotel staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel had courtesy umbrellas for the one day it rained. It was a quick check in and check out. The only thing I wished the hotel offered was a small facility for the few people who have been travelling for awhile is a Laundromat, there are a few things I would not send to be laundered by the staff so I wish more hotels offered some facility for that.

Hotel is just, ok. Nothing really special.

Pros: The only thing good about this hotel would be the location, price and bar staff.
Cons: The probably 8sqft area with two plastic chairs hardly qualifies as a balcony.
We only booked with this hotel because it was the only better rated, nicer looking hotels with an opening for the weekend. We were not able to make the evening ferry trip due to other circumstances and stayed a night somewhere else. When we were able to get over to Victoria in the morning, we stopped at the hotel wanting to drop off our stuff but were told that, despite having paid for the previous night, we would not be refunded any money and could not check in until later that day (after 3pm) for the next evening. So basically, they kept our money and sold our room to someone else. I did not expect a refund but if I paid for a night, I should have the room to use in the morning. Every other hotel something like this has happened with has been at least a little accommodating, but not here.
