“Victoria Favorite!”

We have stayed at many hotels in Victoria over the years. Now this is the only hotel in Victoria for us.

“Royal Guest Treatment”

The Hotel Grand Pacific is a beautiful hotel that is located in a convenient part of Victoria. We had a wonderful view of the waterfront and the Empress Hotel from both balconies as well as a wonderful suit style room. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I felt like a royal guest. I would love to go back to the Hotel Grand Pacific on my next visit to Victoria as well as check out their other locations.

“Great hotel in a great location.”

Great hotel in a wonderful location right on the inner harbour. We flew in by Seaplane and walked to the hotel easily even with 4 bags. Highly recommend renting a scooter or car to get around and take day trips out to Sooke, Butchart Gardens and Sydney. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but did enjoy the time we did spend there...loved the balcony in our room overlooking the harbour. It was worth the upgrade. Also, we asked for a electric hot water kettle for making tea and they gave us one! It was a nice touch that helped us feel right at home.

“A bit expensive, but great”

The location is great, right in the middle of Victoria inner harbor. We got the suite on the fifth floor and the view was totally great; in spite of the busy traffic in the harbor it was also comparatively quite. Both room and bathroom were very clean. However this room is too small to be called suite. The living area is minuscule and two queen beds are in the same sleeping area, which is also not really spacious. We travel quite a lot, but this was the first time that we booked the suite and had to sleep in the same area with the kids, usually suites have separate sleeping area and big couch or two in the living area. The restaurant in the hotel is quite expensive, all dinner entrees are 25-35$, we didn't eat dinner there. The breakfast is also expensive (the buffet is 20$ per person and a la carte is 15$ per person, but with coffee or juice it's basically the same), we ate breakfast once and it was really good, but we paid 95$ (with taxes and tips). The pool is wonderful, very clean and big.

“We'd go back”

Lovely hotel. We had a harbour view which was very nice. Was a bit disappointed in the size of the balcony and the room size but it was just my husband and myself so it wasn't cramped. Did not take advantage of the restaurants there. Victoria just has too many local restaurants in walking distance that you must take advantage of. Helpful and friendly doormen out front.

“Hotel Grand Pacific”

Fantastic location! We had a suite. The room was very pleasant. Service was great. Dinner at the Pacific was absolutely fantastic. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it. The only negative is that there isn't much in their gift shop (no candy or magazines). That's about it.

Hotel Grand Pacific is a very lovely hotel. When I vacation in Victoria and love staying there!! This time I had the "Water View". It was amazing. The amenities of the hotel are great. Yoga classes, swimming pool, dry and steam sauna. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking distance to Victoria.

Fabulous place to stay directly across from the Blackball ferry terminal. Nice pool and jacuzzi, work-out facility. Comfortable beds. Our room had a balcony that faced the harbor. Loved it!

“Great location, service and facilities”

The hotel is situated in the Victoria harbour area with walking access to all downtown shopping and restaurant areas. It includes a separately run full blown athletic centre accessible to hotel guests with a full size swimming pool and great whirlpool, sauna and steam room, in addition to the large gym. We had a corner Victoria room, which is larger than the normal ones, with a King size bed a pleasant sitting area with couch and chair. Overall a great stay!
