Fantastic hotel situated in the perfect location

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Middle of downtown. Within a half hour walk maximum of all hotspots!! You wont be disappointed
Rooms: The rooms are modern with a hint of rustic. My wife and i thought the room was great. All of your typical amenities excluding a safe. The rooms are nice and big and very clean 5/5 Staff: Best staff ive ever dealt with anywhere!! A big shout out to Enes at the front desk for going the extra mile for us. When we first arrived we mentioned that we were there for our honeymoon and when we came back to the hotel after going out for supper he presented my wife and I with a vase of flowers and signed card from some of the hotel staff. Totally awesome! That meant alot to us. Anytime we needed help finding something or something to do they were more than willing to help out. We are simplistic travelers so the little extras that Enes and staff did were just so greatly appreciated. Thank you all for making our stay as good as it was. We will be back for sure. 5/5 Location and price: Once again both great. For a little over $100 a night, this is the place to be. Parking is offsite but is close by. You are right downtown. We walked everywhere! Around 10-15 km day rain or shine, thanks to the free to use umbreallas in the hotel room closet :=). Walking distance from everything....im running out of room to write lol. All said and done, Thank you Hotel Rialto for our fantastic stay. It was our first time in Victoria and definitely not our last. And when we come back, we already know who we are staying with. Cheers

I requested an inside room which was nice and quiet. Using the stairway was a pleasant alternative to the elevator. Everything was clean and modern and relaxing, including the breakfast.

Great location!

Pros: Liked location, spacious room, friendly and accommodating staff, daily morning snacks and beverage included cheese tray on arrival, "Green" program
Cons: Sometimes we had to be careful with our card key and make sure our door was locked after we opened it. Staff showed us the method to correct this.
Location: Walking along the wharf, the Fairmont Empress Hotel and Afternoon tea. Craigdarroch castle, Robert Bateman centre, Royal BC Museum and many more.
When we arrived we were way too early to check-in, but the hotel kept our luggage and away we went to explore Victoria. When we came back to the hotel to check-in they gave us a free upgrade. The staff stated we were staying a week, therefore they felt we would be more comfortable in a suite. We were thrilled! The location was great as we were withing walking distance of all the touristy places. As well the location is right across the street from a bus stop where several buses going here and there picked up passengers, even a bus to the airport. We didn't need to rent a car. Even located on a busy street, we found the hotel quite quiet.
