Nice Hotel on the Inner HarbourPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Location, view, proximity to Ocean.
Cons: Restaurant food and service
Bellman was outstanding. Lunch and Service in their on site Restaurant as below average, very disappointing.

Vacation in VictoriaPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: We stayed in a suite in the Ericson wing, which was very nice. The room was superb, with a large patio / balcony with a fabulous view
Cons: There is a walk to get to the elevator for that wing, well worth it, but if there were a way to cut it down, it would be nice.
Location: Everything is close!
Thr hotel is right beside the Victoria Clipper, but away from the inner harbour, making it a quirt location. Certainly not remote, you can walk to the Empress in 10 minutes. The staff was very helpful, and our dealigs with them were first rate.

a well kept hotel close to the harbourPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: proximatey to downtown and the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of all the staff
we were able to find the hotel easily and enjoyed its proximity to all "the tourist" areas. we especially enjoyed the view of the harbour and watching all the activity.

ok place to stayPosted Jul 9, 2014
Cons: Include wifi or breakfast to compete with the nicer hotels that are priced the same.
Location: A little bit of a walk but reasonable.
Staff was nice and hotel was clean but you can tell the building is old and feels dated. If the hotel had included wifi or breakfast or anything extra it would have made a difference but you can easily find somewhere better for the same price.

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Jul 9, 2014
Stayed 2 nights during Canada day. Excellent location for the firework. Parking is expensive so better park in the street or the public parking (100m from the hotel for $4.50 during the daytime).

Great Staff. Great for families!Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Staff and location are fantastic. We saw a beautiful sunset on the water while we watched water planes take off and land.
Cons: The shower curtain smelled a little of mildew but everything else was very clean.
Location: Water taxis are nearby to take you to nearby attractions. Hotel is right on the water! Great view of the harbour.
The staff had great suggestions for Victoria first timers. The bellhop/door greeter/doorman/valet guy was fantastic. He was great with the children. The check in staff was equally helpful. They gave the children a scavenger hunt for a prize. They had a great time exploring the hotel to fill out the survey. The front was also good for providing suggestions on what to do and how to get around in victoria. What a beautiful city with wonderful people.

Overnight VictoriaPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Quieter than other more expensive plac in the area, lovely view. It's a thrill to see the float planes and ferries come and go from the harbor.
Cons: Parking is a bit steep but you can walk to almost everything and we just left it in self park.
Location: Victoria is a beautiful city and the inner harbor an experience in itself. Try Nautical Nellies on Wharf and Il Terrazo in Waddington Alley.
Great hotel, walking distance to restaurants at the inner harbor. The Clipper Ferry to Seattle is 3 minutes on walking path.

Our Stay in VictoriaPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Great location and pretty view
Cons: Free internet and not such a high parking fee
Location: Water Taxi, whale watching, museum parks and relaxing.
I was really looking forward to staying at a higher end hotel for the experience. It was a beautiful location , nice view quiet and clean. The staff was very helpful with all our questions and requests. But I was so very disappointed that after paying double of what we paid on all other places during our trip a night for a room they charged us to use internet and parking. I will not stay again, I think you should rethink our policy at least for internet. Sincerely, Sharon

The hotel staff made our trip!Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: We cannot say enough about the amazing friendly and helpful staff! The location was superb, it was quiet, rooms were clean, outdoor grounds beautiful
Cons: The ocean view room we were in could definitely use an update in furniture and style.
Location: We walked to everything, put on a few miles but was very do-able - Parliament buildings, Fishermans wharf, salmon fishing, Empress Hotel, mile zero
The hotel staff was beyond our expectations! They always made you feel welcome and were SO friendly and helpful - from planning excursions to recommending bars and restaurants - they never let us down! This is by far the best service we have ever had from hotel staff! The hotel room we stayed in is definitely due for an upgrade but if you looked beyond that I am positive you wouldn't find a hotel with any better staff and the rooms were clean and the view spectacular. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel and would be repeat customers.
