Very pleasant for the pricePosted Nov 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Keep in mind when booking a room here, the rates are really low, this isn't a 4 star hotel. Having said that, I stayed for 2 nights and it was really pleasant. The staff was very friendly, the room was a little worn, but clean. Towels and linens were replaced daily and the free breakfast was actually pretty decent. If I find myself in Victoria again, I'll have no problems staying here.

Excellent ValuePosted Sep 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
My husband, our 25 year old son with disabilities and I stayed at The Knights Inn Victoria East for (5) nights in September. We came from Southern California to Victoria to visit 4 generations of cousins that have always lived there. This was the best value priced hotel I found with a swimming pool and full hot breakfast to meet our needs. There is a Sonic burger on one side & The Skillet "hometown cafe" on the other. Business was slow due to end of summer, so it was was very quiet. This is a clean hotel with the most attentive staff, i.e., Alfred from maintenance, and Terrence at the front desk. Everyone was very accepting of our son, we had a welcomed stay, I would definitely stay there again.

just a roomPosted Sep 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place served its purpose in needing somewhere to lay your head. It wasn't the cleanest place but it hasn't been the worst.

worse experience with a hotel in 25 yrs of travel.Posted Aug 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
On 8/8/14 was originally booked in room 157. the toilet was leaking and no caulking around base of toilet. floor behind toilet and shower head was filthy, looked like hadn't been cleaned in a year. there were hairs in the shower. the reclining chair in main room was worn out; the "pleather" area where head would rest and the arms of chair was "peeled off". Called the clerk and she stated would put me in another room. So, I removed my belongings and went to clerk to get new room. I was assigned room 212 and toted my belongings upstairs to the room. I opened the door and an individual was lying in bed with all their belongings in the room. So, again I tote my belongings back to the clerk and inform her of the situation at which time I am told no one is suppose to be in that room. I restated there is an individual in the room. again she stated no one is suppose to be in there and I told her to send someone to the room to verify. I told the clerk of my dissatisfaction and wanted compensation for this ordeal and was informed I would have to talk to someone in the morning. I was then assigned room 208 which was in decent shape much to my surprise. The first room, #157, would NO WAY conform to public health standards.
