They gave us a room beside the elevator..noisy ALL night. There was no plug for the tub. The coffee pods for the ONE cup brewer were 4 cup size. The breakfast options were slim. It's clean and safe.

Loud people were making a lot of noise talking and laughing in the hallway around 2:00 in the morning for almost half an hour. The entire building could hear them. No one told them to shut up.

Room smelled bad of urine. No breakfast in the morning all ladies in front would say is no one put the order in so there is no breakfast available. No apologies no nothing.

This is the second visit, same lady at the reception cannot find our reservation and some minutes later she does!!!! No welcome no smiles. It is time to look for somewhere else.

1. I requested downstairs room due to me medical condition. a. DIDN'T GET IT. THEY PUT ME UPSTAIRS. 2. Breakfast Hrs.' 0500-0900. b. I arrived at 0810. Gravy was dry and cold. sausage were cold. 3. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. c. Couldn't sleep, My wife and I woke up with back pain. 4. Check out is at 1100. d. WHY IN THE HELL ARE THE CLEANING WORKINGS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR AT 0900 JUST TO SEE IF WE WHERE STILL IN THE ROOM AND SEE IF WE WHERE GOING TO CHECK THAT DAY. BACK TO #4 COULD NOT SLEEP AT NIGHT.

The hotel and especially the room had a strong musty smell. We had to keep the air temperature low so the compressor would remove humidity from the room. We kept the bathroom exhaust fan on at all times for the same purpose. We burned a scented candle to mask the awful musty smell.

Not the best.
The restroom was not the cleanest, lost of mold on the door, the carpet was sticky, and the bed had a piece of metal sticking out and I hurt my leg several times bumping into it. The beds were pretty comfortable.

My stay at La Quinta in Port Lavaca was very pleasant. The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly! I would definitely stay here again.

This property is very pretty. The staff was very nice. However our room had an ac leak and wreaked of mold. The carpet was wet where it had been leaking. Breakfast was good Saturday but Sunday they were understaffed and there was no breakfast at all by 9am

The first thing I noticed was a strong moldy oder in the lobby. This was prevelent throughout the hotel.. Maybe due to being at the ocean. The first room I was assigned to was open when I got there and someone had taken a nap in the bed. Trash was over flowing with drink cans and trash. When I went back to the lobby the front desk person did not seem surprised and I received no apology. I did get a new room assigned which was clean and uninhabited. Breakfast the next morning was very good.

The inital room that we were put in was dirty. Trash, crumbs everywhere. The chairs where put in the middle of the room between the beds like someone had been watch television. I went back the front desk and the young man profusly apologized and put us in a clean room. He stated that the computer system had been messed up. He stated that it had happened several times. We have a family Renuion once every 2 years and this is our families go to. I doubt we return next year. The entire hotel had a "damp smell" and cigarettes in the pool.

Trash cans in lobby, pool, and out front were always overflowing. Clumped dirt was in lobby and hallway for well over eight hours. Trash was in pool and around pool.

We got in super late the night we stayed. Showered, slept, got up and left the next morning. We loved the 11am check out time cause we were exhausted. It was just what we needed. I place to shower and lay our heads before we headed off to the next town. I don't have any complaints.
